the fact that the album is so objectively shit, it has abrupt cuts, HORRID mixing, not a fuck given about it, and abrasive ass delivery and abrasive ass everything else, having basically every aspect to make an album bad, makes it a PERFECT album and cartis best to date . it’s purpose was to be punk, and homie nailed the punk aspect throughout the whole thing, intentionally or not. not only did he experiment and evolve his sound, but he captured the punk aesthetic for the whole album perfectly. i honestly feel carti has been punk since he came out, he always been different and ratchet, then he created a whole new style that everyone shitted on cuz he was spitting mindless adlibs and words that was not able to be called rapping, that’s punk as fuck. punk aint bout a sound, it’s a movement or behavior against the norms and anti what you think or expect
