Cad Bane killed another Bounty Hunter just so he could get his iconic hat back. And those tubes on his cheeks? They make him immune to being force-choked.
Think it was just for the hat, not that it was his before, makes it sound like someone previously stole his hat... the breathing tubes are interesting, just looked that up, always wondered what they were for

Also, the whole "Jango is not Mandalorian" thing came from Mandalorian officials that wanted to show off how peaceful they were, so it'd make sense they'd deny that a bounty hunter is in any way connected to them.
As far as legend content goes it´s not completely sure if his parents were mandalorian(they were killed when he was very young) but he was raised and trained by mandalorians which should be enough.

Bounty Hunters make no sense in TCW. Sometimes they're mercenaries, sometimes hired guns or security, sometimes assassins, sometimes criminals(actually, when Obi Wan goes to prison, all the bounty Hunters are there), and sometimes they're actual bounty hunters, who bring in criminals that the authorities can't catch.

drksideofthewal yup...sad to see ventress on this list since she's much more of a Sith assassin (and the whole can kill everyone on this list thing highlights why I dislike force users) but Bane even in the face of legends, may it's rotten corpse full of bad writing and absurd plot holes be forgotten, is the best bounty hunter.

The symbol on his right breast plate is a reminder to him of his teacher. There was someone else who was a madalorian with the last name fett but idk if they are related.

I would have loved to see a Jango vs Cad showdown and just imagine if the Separatists had made a few Cad clones to fight the Jango clones. I am still a sucker for Legends Bobo and he will always remain my number one. Which put Jango as my personal number two with Cad just a touch behind him. Still a great list
Man I so hate that EVERYONE hates the clone wars series and doesn't take it seriously, it's soooooo annoying, it's a great show especially once you get past the first season or two.
Razor Wave I just skipped the first two seasons. I’m trying to enjoy it, but I’m still salty about Maul and inconsistent voices for characters. It is pretty good, I guess.

Exactly, it literally states he was mandalore after his adoptive father died and ended up leading his troops in a war against jedi(dooku leading the jedi) and after a devastating loss turned to the bounty hunter profession. He was no where near a weak man AND was a true mandalorian

I didn’t know Asajj Ventress was a bounty hunter! I thought she was always a Sith. And it’s super suprising that she would battle her own brothers.
What about Durge he was stab with a light saber then laughed and continued fitting and also grabbed a Jedi the pinged his hands and parts of his arms into lava and he has a regenerative power that made it so he could only die if every atom of him was destroyed completely at the same time

10) Her reputation certainly took a deep dip in TCW. Before her change, she was a Force-sensitive badass who was trained as a Jedi but left behind to be taken by pirates by the Dark Woman. Eventually she would be trained by Anzati assassins who put the antennae into her head to feel the fear from her prey and keep her hate for the Jedi alive. She killed Padawans and Masters alike with impunity and was the only major Jedi killer until General Grievous arrived on the scene.
9) She should not even be able to do so well in her fight with Maul. He should easily be able to incapacitate her or at the very most kill her. In _Maul_ _Lockdown_ , he won every one of his fights against the most vicious, ruthless, and bloodthirsty killers, assassins, criminals, and psychopaths in the galaxy without the aid of the Force. I know that you weren't using EU resources to make this but still it is a testament to his prowess.
8) This guy I like. And he does deserve to get some bounties finished. Most of the time he acts as a personal bodyguard to Doctor Aphra until recently.
7) He killed three people with *two* shots! How badass is that? One of the most difficult bosses in the game if you're not prepared.
6) Before TCW made him best buds with Boba Fett, Bossk had it in for the infamous bounty hunter for quite some time. He also killed and ate his own father to become the leader of the Bounty Hunter's Guild and tried to take the carbonite Han Solo from Boba Fett multiple times.
5) Embo was definitely a capable and adaptable warrior; able to switch from working with groups to working alone. I wished that we got a backstory to him in this new canon. It needs to happen.
4) Considering that you're using only what's in the films and TV series, I'll forgive this placement. I'm surprised that you didn't replace him with his father due to his reputation of disintegrating his targets. He also did take a few shots at Luke on Bespin with a few nearly hitting his head.
3) "I know Coleman Trebor was a Jedi Master and he did sat on the Council, so he can't have been that incompetent." You're not going to look at the fact that he was a Soresu specialist? A lightsaber form that was designed to defend against blaster fire? No? Ok. Also you made a flub. You said, "Boba Fett" and not "Jango Fett."
2) She should *not* have gone out that way! I would've expected her to live longer than that and maybe help out Ahsoka after Order 66. It was just a downgrade to her character.
1) "He defeated the plot armor of Star Wars." lol. He was largely successful in all of his assignments to various degrees and his equipment allowed him to face off against the likes of Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka. I would like to see more of him and how he ended up (I know that there was a clip of him getting shot by Boba Fett during Celebration this year, but come on. It was never confirmed and people have survived being shot before).
Grand Admiral Thrawn They could have easily made Ventress continue the Night Sisters but didn't. Ventress is for sure my favorite Star Wars character and it was a shame to have her end but it had to happen eventually. I just wish we got more content with her.

Mr Undy I know, right? The reason her future was open in the old EU was to provide an opportunity to use her in future content. The weird thing is that they never did. TCW could've done the same with her after she caught Ahsoka but they killed her off. They limited her to being only in the Clone Wars when she had potential to appear in future shows (like Rebels), comics, and books that took place years, maybe decades, after the fact.
I thought Ventress' death was great. Also, where are your sources for these things? Which episode was it again where Sing killed multiple jedi?
+GeneralZ I didn't say that it was an episode, I said it was before TCW. In the Dark Horse Star Wars: Republic comics, she was revealed to be an assassin and bounty hunter with a penchant and expertise in killing Jedi. She would collect the lightsabers of the fallen Jedi as trophies and used a red-bladed one in her duels. The sources for these are in Star Wars: Republic #7-12 and #28-31.

Jango fett was a Mandalorian without question. He even was Mandalore at one time and even killed several jedi with nothing but his bare hands. Disney might be rewriting things as they see fit but make no mistake that even this post is nothing compared to the life of Jango in the lore of Star Wars.
Only G Canon was canon as far as I'm concerned. Disney isn't rewriting anything , they just got rid of the bad fanfiction that the old EU was.

@@OmegaDez And I should probably add, if you're going to call the old EU "bad fanfiction," you'd sort be stuck calling the new EU "bad fanfiction," since it is run by the same people at Lucasfilm, the same publishers(Del Rey), and written by some of the same authors, writing under the same rules. Well, it´s not like Cad Bane couldn´t wear armour as well if he wanted to. Taking protective measures can´t really be considered a bad idea if your job reveolves around killing or capturing dangerous individuals. Also, plot armour was sorta unavoidable in this case as we know for sure that he was still alive in episode V which is about 20 years later.
