- Hillary knew her music room needed one thing-- a black accent wall! So we put our DIY heads together and created the black geometric wood accent wall of her pinterest dreams. There were some standard DIY foibles along the way and we definitely had our work cut out for us, but hopefully this video inspired you and helps you if you are in the market to DIY a black accent wall yourself!

@@strawberryme08 sure but not all marriages end on good terms . I’ve seen it with affairs with my best friend . If it ends amicably sure but anything with cheating and another women I can imagine would make it very hard to get along . My sister is friends with her ex husband but neither of them date so less drama . This all depends on time and how people break up . You can be as mature as possible with kids but doubtful the women would hang out if something went wrong with the marriage . This is cool though , I’m sure the circumstances didn’t have a ton of drama for either women though which is good for them and great for the kids for sure .
@@Kwildcat13 Actually, things went terribly wrong in my relationship. So wrong, I won’t air it all here, I hope that you’ll trust me on it tho. After it ended I went thru all the emotions. I hated him, we were friends... I was jealous ... all of it. Then, he met her!!! I hated her!!! We fought. Physically. I had a son, so I knew it all had to end. The stress was killing me... killing us all. Make a long story short, her and I are so close. They drove 7 hours to see my new son be born. We just had another family outing. I never wanted my son to feel like he had to choose. The more people who can love our children the better. At the end of the day, people give us weird looks when they find out how we know one another. I’m re married to the man of my dreams and were often out together.... it can happen. It can work!! It takes time ... that’s all. ☺️

I know this is about the project but I just love seeing this! I didn't know my step father wasnt my biological father until I was about 10/12 years old. I was never treated differently from his biological children and even his siblings, mom/father never treated me any different. The ex wife had always treated me and my siblings with love and always so excited to have all of us around (including my mother) with their kids. I can remember my mom visiting the ex wife and her family many times with and without my dad and all the kids hanging out. I never grew up knowing "baby mama" or "ex wife drama" until now that I have a family of my own. My father has been deceased for many years and my mom and all the siblings still call, invite to different functions, and check on each other. This is 45+ years later.

Looks great! Change out that white outlet to black. I did that on my black accent wall. It was cheap & easy, but it was a big improvement to the overall look!!

I want to paint the wall in front of my desk black, I am going to add 3 white floating shelves and add LEDs under the shelves where I am going to put all my art supplies (bottom row), middle row all my perfumes, (top 3rd top row) all my collectibles (funko pops & scale models).

We did an accent wall but we pulled the plug and got black with a black wall plate for it. It blends with the wall. Easy to do.

You should paint the outlet cover too. My bedroom is a similar color and the off white plugs were a big distraction. We spray painted them a darker black than the wall and they look really nice now and intentional. Great DIY video!
