What's crazy is that even with the lack of success as Faker grows older, he is still widely consider a Top 5 Midlaner during the team's down years. Which is just a testament of how crazy good he is.
They lost again :( it actually breaks my heart a bit, because Faker doesn't show it that much by now, but he's kind of disappointed of growing older in a game that is going just full of broken champs, he also wants to play as well as he did in his prime and that shows how much he still cares even after all of this years

I think Mata's achievements cabinet was so big that you guys did not have space to mention winning Worlds 2014 with SSW, but you did mention his KDA during that tournament and his 2016 triumph with SKT. Well, by far my favourite player on this entire list. I wish I would see Ambition in there too, his story is inspiring..
Bruh wtf, that's definitely a mistake from the video creator. Mata won Worlds in 2014. In. 2016, he played for RNG and got eliminate by SKT in Quarter Final.

Wolf was SKT's support from 2015-2018. It was a typo in their part, Mata didn't join SKT until 2019. But yeah, Ambition as well as Rookie should have made it in this list.

Caps is nowhere near enough to be on this list yet, you still have players like Rookie, Score, Ambition etc that would be here before Caps
The thing about Faker is that he’s done it at every level. Domestic, international, supporting the team or carrying the team he was always the face of SKT. There are players mechanically better than Faker today, guys like Chovy and Knight are mechanically better than Faker. There were players smarter or more innovative than Faker. But Faker’s name is the only one that’s on both lists and has been so good for so long.

Honestly, I was here to see where Uzi and Deft ranked. My 2016 shift to ADC came from watching them dominate in, and prior to that year, I was ready to be very let down since Deft has been left off of other lists. 10/10 list.
i agree so much with Mata, he might not be the incredible playmaker that gets the highlights all the time but he is so damn consistant and innovative. Mata is my biggest influence in League for sure, even tho you would expect it to be someone like Madlife as a Thresh main

In TheShy's peak he is definitely on this list, but his drop off in performances is the worst that we've ever seen from a player of his level.

As NA fan I think Perkz should be higher. As soon as he hit EU he's been on a top 2 team every split and has made it to worlds finals 2 times. Swapped roles and still was smashing people. To me that deserves a little more props than some players who were great in their roles and then fell off over the years
Perkz 2 worlds finals? He made only 1 final and won MSI, also 8x LEC champion and 1x LCS champion, Caps has 2 worlds finals, MSI trophy and MVP, 7 LEC titles, I think Jankos should be in top10 as well

I feel like Caps should be on the list, albeit somewhere 7th-10th. The dude has been to the world finals twice, won MSI, dominated EU more than any player ever besides Perks who is probably tied with him there, and he hasn't had that much time to do it unlike other players on the list. Also crazy carry potential, flexibility, intangibles, attitude, Caps has got everything to be on this list somewhere.
If this video had been made after semifinals, Caps would have been on the list, no-questions-asked. He absolutely smurfed all over GenG. Looking at G2 around Week 6 of LEC Summer, I never imagined they'd not only win the Summer split but also 3-0 GenG in Worlds.

I really like this list I get why theyre asking for people like caps, rookie, and theshy. Since perkz was on the list theres no reason to put caps because they basically have the same trophy case and perkz already proved that hes better when he beat fnatic. theshy is still young so he can still crack the top 10 even top 5 but hes so coin flippy at the moment he either destroys lane and solo carries the game or he screw his team over by inting and feeding the enemy. Rookie was the one i was confused why he wasnt on the list but then again he wasted half his career doing nothing in the lpl he just recently got to form 2018 and now hes out again so he didnt really have much impact on the game
but caps is better than perkz. Otherwise why they made perkz go adc
@@CosmeValera Perkz is much more consistent (in midlane) and rarely ints. Caps is better mechanically but he has his CRAPS side sometimes showing. Also this list is not about the best players mechanically it is based on achievements,consistency and career more than mechanics and talent otherwise rookie,theshy,caps,jackeylove would have been here.
For me Caps is the best West midlaner of all time , and he is still young,so he can become more strong than now. For example the reason for EU was on the worlds final for the last 2 year, was cause Caps was in that teams, 2018 Fnatic and 2019 G2 and maybe this year another time. (Sorry for my bad English, but I think is understandable)
Agreed that perkz is more consistent and caps is better mechanically. Atm Perkz should definitely be higher on the list based on resume alone. Not to forget that he reached world class level on 2 roles. I really dislike the 2 times semi finals stat that people love to bring up for caps. The worlds format isnt made to check who is the second best team. If you play the best team in quarters or semis youll be out regardless if you're the second best team or 8th. In 2018 Fnc had to play Cloud9 in semis, g2 had to play IG. Im not saying FNC werent the second best team at the tournament just that second finish is a lot more RNG than 1st.
Perkz moved to adc so that they could get caps to play in mid. This one already says a lot about who is the better midlaner

Uzi might be too dominative to be on fakers team. Uzi is pretty much the center of the play every single time on his team. Being with faker who's plays are also kinda centered around him being the carry, it might not work like you think it would. Though Mata and Uzi would be a hell of a duo
Faker and Mata alone conflicts a lot on shot calling.. and to add Uzi, it would be a nightmare. Some super teams, even on other sport, don't work for a reason. Just like how 2010-11 Miami Heat cost me a lot of money lol

i would like to put honorable mentions: rookie (from 2015 to 2020 one of the best midlaners in the lpl, went to worlds 3 times, 15 ,18 he won, 19 got semis), rekkless (as one of the dominant consistent adc's in europe for years reaching, semis in 15, finals in worlds 18 or quarter in every other year), caps (even tho he doesnt have longevity he has the titles prowess: won lec titles, always 1st/2nd best midlaner in europe(2nd only to perkz maybe) reached worlds finals twice in 18,19 with different teams and won msi in 19, currently in semis in 20)

deft destroyed uzi during his lpl days. people really underrate deft, the only reason uzi seems so good is because his team is literally built around him. he has 4 supports. but deft still almost beat him every game.

@@amadeux5471 Rookie is top tier mid since 2014 and don't be fooled by that he did not win any major trophy between 2014-2018 (since he won the lck in 2014). In most of the cases he did not have good roster to begin with. People thinking he's great since 2018 are sooooo freaking wrong. In 2018 he finally show true talent and skills to the world by winning worlds, but it is not true that he was shit before it happened. He is having a rough year now, probably he's last one in professional career, but that is his first bad split / moment since he started playing professionally.

when he said Perkz being more domestically dominant kinda made me laugh a lil bit, because the fact that the LEC has had like 2-3 good teams during his tenure on G2. Imagine putting SKT in the LEC they would probably win every split... Faker dominated the best region for his entire career basically.
But they won't since they can't beat G2 and Also FNC would go toe to toe with them . Also they would practice in a worst solo Q . I would say SKT might number 1 in EU or barely making play offs . No matter how good Faker is they missed Allot of worlds now . And the Korean teams that went to worlds the last 3 years outside of DWG this year did not performed well outside of B01

Faker is #1 that much we surely all agree on, although i admit i hoped to see Caps on this too. Perkz is amazing while being a teamboost too, Caps raw sheer individual ceiling is higher though.
I do think that Caps will have his place on this list given more time and potentially more success for the LEC as a whole internationally. Overall I agree with this list, especially given the criteria you laid out.
i still get sad whenever i click on a video like this and know without question that there wont be any NA talent on it...

I think that Rekkles is underrated, he is probably the best player of his team, and, the best ADC of Europe at least, He hasn't been killed on almost every game, is a player that CS really well and don't die too much for game, always doing a great damage and posinionating so well on every fight, is too hard win lane phase versus him

I feel like everyone is undermining 2016 SKT's players since a lot of people see many better players than SKT. I can agree that a lot of players are really better than SKT but the 2016 SKT is what Peak Teamwork looks like. They were never the best players but they understood each other of what they can do and won against ROX that are for me a team stacked with insane talent. I'm still waiting to this day for a team that is oozing with teamwork to win Worlds. Maybe SN or DWG.
I wouldn't say ROX had better players overall. Kuro has inferior to Faker throughout their entire careers. If anything, ROX had the better teamwork, at least in 2016, as was shown during their LCK season and their world championship runs. Not saying SKT wasn't good either though obviously, they won the title.

Deft above UZI? UZI has been regarded as the single best ADC hands down by all other pro ADC players his entire career. He brought RNG to elusive positions at worlds when the LPL was a much weaker region. I think you're mischaracterizing his aggressiveness as a cost, when it was RNG's best chance at winning.

@@Seija729 I agree that Uzi is first and Deft is second among adc rankings but not because of finals appearances. Deft had to face SSW in semis in 2014 and in IG in 2018 quarterfinals. Both those worlds he was on the second best team but didn't make finals because of an unlucky bracket. So I agree that I'd put Uzi first Deft second but not because of finals appearances.

to me rekkles is for sure top 3 adcs worldwide , he just gets unlucky but mechanic wise kda , cs ,dps he is one of the best , also i would argue that caps should make it in the list for how talented and how hard he can carry a team my opinion tho

no one will ever dethrone faker... as he said before, in order to become the best , you need to keep your position as the best . you cant become the best if you only defeat the best once, you need to do it consistently...
