Reporter: âWhoâs your friend Sonny?â
Son: Tolgay Arslan
Reporter: âNo idea who that is, why did I askâŠ.â
*Son and Arslan (Melb Cityâs new signing last season) played at Hamburg together in Germany for 3 seasons Son was there in 2010-2013. They must have formed a great friendship during that time for Son to call him one of his best friends there. Son speaks fluent German as well for the 5 years he played and lived in Germany early in his career. Would be fascinating indeed for them to have this reunion here randomly in Melbourneđ*
This guy is just great. Passionate, caring, funny, and a great coach to boot.
Even as a Rangers supporter, I doff my hat to the man.
I'd happily play for big Ange
Erm Scottish premiership a bit different
@@howstewdo I hear and read that all the time. How come Rangers have beaten many great European teams to get to finals? How come Celtic have done also and won European cups like Aberdeen have? Youâre right, it is a different league. With around 5-7% of what the EPL teams get yearly, we can hold our own. Fact
â@@howstewdoThankfully, yes. Nobody buys the Scottish league title.
@@jamesrowe3606 đŻspot on. EPL is like an attractive woman with fake boobs. SPL is as nature intendedđ
Please mic up the people asking the questions - hard to hear and know what he's responding to.
So awesome to find out that sonny is best mates with Arslan. Good follow up question from that journo.
Love ange reaction to ali gold and fact he flew out to it - Romero had announced his wife was pregnant week or so ago so Iâd presumed he wouldnât travel as wonât have seen extended family
Welcome home Ange, lovely to have you back and promoting football.. when you could be on a private beach somewhere..

What a stupid question from the reporter saying, do you think you are taking away the spotlight from the A League final⊠what a twit! Itâs exposing football even more in this country with having Spurs here!
As a female, Iâm embarrassed a female journalist asked that question.
exactly, this is the riches that are available in a true footballing nation - people shouldn't feel threatened, they should feel blessed! classic tall poppy.
Ange was spot on. The streets within 1km radius of connor reserve were full of cars.
Heaps of people atended tonight.
Sonny's best friend Tolgay Arslan! â€
As he was born in Greece, he should one day manage Greece!
He will finish his career managing AEK Athens... His late fathers favourite team. Lock it in. đ
But he doesn't park the bus.
On a sun bed by remote đ
He is Australian as any born Australian as he moved to Greece when he was only 4 years old. He does not remember Greece before moving.
He had a job in the lower divisions there years ago. Google "Panachaiki ange" to read some of the articles
One is for sure, Ange is coming to Greek islands this summer đđđđ

The line is very thin lol
He's Greek, I'd imagine Greece sounds lovely to him lol
He is Australian, he moved to Australia when he was 4.
@@user-zh6ew6qq2t So born in Greece to Greek parents and didn't move to Australia til he was 4/5 and you still say he's Australian? Ok mate. He has Aussie citizenship but he is Greek. If he was born in Australia then I would agree with you.
No brainer. Off course, he's proud to be Greek. It's a country with a 4,000 years plus history, which created democracy, created historical events, developed the myths and the arts, created philosophy, founded the first hospital in Europe, and made medical history, started the Olympic games, mastered the military arts, etc... Compare that to 248 years of Australian history. Case closed.
@@joelthorpe4170 He sounds Greek or Australian when he speaks?
@@alexrenn2479 And what does his accent prove? That he moved to Australia and picked it up from being there long enough. He was born in Greece to Greek parents and he has a Greek name. He's Greek, as Greek as you can get. Listen to Bellerin speak, would you say he was British or Spanish from just hearing him alone and without having any context about his origins? He's the most Cockney Catalan ever lol Accents and adopted nationalities don't take away your heritage and culture.
Ange is already doing pre-season! Mate calm down and take a break Ange! The Euros and Copa America are coming up!

I cant decide if bringing the youngsters to play a friendly when those lads have an U/21 cup final at the weekend, was a good idea or not? Cus the kyermartin, santiago and co did earn their place in the final but playing agsinst better opposition would help their progress too.

Y a friendly just after season.. rest the players need then pre season to get fit. Waste of money
So its ok to scout out players from all over the world to play in prem/ european leagues etc but its not ok to give back a little to the supporters who live outside Europe who have some connection with the team/ club and don't get the opportunity to travel and watch the team they support.
Football is a global sport. These footballers are young, full of energy, professional athletes. They can handle a long flight and hour difference. It won't kill them. They will get their chance to rest, recuperate and fire up their engines for next season. No one said it was easy to get paid millions of dollars but atleast they getting paid for doing what they love and thats to play football.

It has to do with global football week in Melbourne - unfortunately itâs during this time
@@Taecoconut I'm going to guess, to be fair to the organisers, this was the only time they could get the teams to agree to come here. I don't blame us Aussies for trying to see the teams, I only blame the clubs for their greed (not specifically Spurs, they all do it).
@@kiriakoz Ange did say if they had more games (eg more cup games and were in Europe) he would have said no.
