- On August 31st, RA, fabric and Jägermeister hosted SAVETHENIGHT 2023, an afternoon of panel conversations followed by a party.
We brought together some of the most important voices in London's dance music scene to discuss the challenges facing the industry today-booking fees, the staying power of venues, accessibility and more-and how best to move forward.
In this conversation, RA's Michael Lawson spoke with I. JORDAN, Parris and PXSSY PALACE's Nadine Noor about the steps the dance music industry can take to become more accessible. The lively conversation asked questions such as: is dance music becoming homogenised? What can be done to improve accessibility for people from underrepresented backgrounds? And is it a problem that the industry is so skewed towards London?

The event formed part of the 2023 SAVETHENIGHT fund, which is offering funding of up to €100,000 to applicants from around the world-people working in nightlife who have an idea or a project that can help nightlife to develop and progress. If this is you, apply before November 30th via this application form: save-the-night.jagermeister.com/ - Hudba
The death of the underground comes from the realization that you have to stand around in a room filled with these weirdos.
A big reason why RA pulled the comment section from the main site was because the peanut gallery would absolutely let them have it when they tried to push this kind of nonsense. Their whole editorial angle has gone straight into the toilet in the last decade.
More whining than a choir of boiling kettles
They want underground culture but they want it more accessible. What a non sense
These questions to punters bother me. Do I really have that kind of influence? Soundz like a corporate question, just for marketing.
What an obtuse point of view that didn't necessitate a forum. Stop making up problems that don't exist.
A bunch of privileged people complaining 😴
It's saturateed as it is...
the audacity on the two girls. both just whining complaining when they are the most privileged in the industry. the guy seems pretty down to earth though
6:58 God ALMIGHTY get over yourself
Dance music would become more accessible once they stop pulling it off of Spotify
