They still do Hellevator and other early songs in concert to this day. They are fan favorite and Stray Kids performing anything live is always great,
As others said, the dance practice was an early version of the choreo (using the guide version of the song (sung by only Changbin and Han)). In the final version, Changbin is more center towards the end of the hook as he sings the last line of each hook part: I'm on a Hellevator. And in this version, he wasn't doing this part. It's definitely among my most favorite songs. The survival show is interesting as you can see some behind the scenes of how they made songs. I love to see the process.
Lee Know created the choreography for this, only 17 or 18 years old. Bang Chan created the song.
And of course our Mian Rappers, Han and Changbin, wrote and composed this song. And of course sang the original demo that plays during this dance practice. Well, actually Han sang all the cocal parts AND all of His, Linos, and Hyunjins raps. Changbin of course performed his own rap...
I think the original "Hellevator" choreography that Lino made and taught TIRELESSLY to the others, specially I.N., really shows what SKZ can truly do without any help once so ever. Hell, they are such massive perfectionists snd hard workers, that they actually overshot company expectations. Lol, so when they brought this performance and song to JYP he told them it was all way too difficult. He wanted them to remove the high notes and sinplify the choreography. Thats why the choreography is MUCH more laid back now, not so all consuming...
However I guess they felt that was already too massive of a compromise of their "leave it all on the dance floor" mentality. Seemingly deciding againt compromising composition, after all, the choreography was much simpler now. Kinda unifying the reaskn to do so. Lmao Heck, if im not mistaken, I believe Han may have actually started singing it even higher at times. 🤣
Hellevator was made during the SKZ Survival Show so you'll get behind the scenes for this song and the rest of their pre-debut Mixtape during the program. The dance practice uses the original demo track by 3RACHA so only Chan, Changbin, and Han are on the audio (the woman's voice is the demo watermark).
I would recommend as you are adding new songs to your Spotify playlists to grab the SKZ 2020/SKZ 2021 versions of their older music as they re-recorded nearly every song after the former member left in 2019. Some of this decision was due to copyright in situations where the former member had a writing credit (his lines were removed in those situations) but the rest of the recordings are line re-distributions. They remain the current line distributions for those songs at concerts and other events.

edit: this version of hellevator, the song wasn’t sang by all of them, & some of the choreo changed. there’s a hellevator dance practice on the channel jaeminsuh that has the song sang by all of them & the current choreo if you’d like to watch that on your own time!
I love this song.
I love the dance practices. All of them. The stage costumes and makeup are great and all, but there’s just something special about the casual clothes, the more relaxed atmosphere, the squeaks and slaps of the shoes, just the whole vibe is different and I love it. Thank you. ❤️🙏😇
