Usually not child friendly. The last pride event I went to has a ton of bdsm outfits, nudity, and everything is sexualized too much. I think pride should be 18+ or be family friendly and limit certain behaviours. Be more about love than sex. Embrace who you are and be more than who you are in the bedroom.
What is Pride about? It seems misplaced to celebrate something without a significant accomplishment behind it. Who cares about anyone's sexual orientation? It's a private matter that doesn't need public attention. Your sexual preferences are your own business, much like how you choose to use the restroom. It's not something the public needs to know.
We’re prideful because we love who we are. Literally 3 decades ago it was illegal to love who we love and be who we are. There are still currently people who are MURDERING us because we like the same gender, or we’re not our ‘assigned gender.’ For a LGBTQ+ person, it could be nervracking just leaving the house because we think we’re gonna get shot the second we do. Why should you be proud of having a different sexuality? Bi person speaking here, i dont treat myself any different from how another person treats himself, because i have nothing to be ashamed or proud of, being part of the lgbt isnt an upgrade or a downgrade, its a sidegrade.
