Wait.. who said toys have no gender? Some decades ago psychologists found the vast majority of infants will choose toys stereotypical to their sex without any input. There is something far deeper at work here and that is the part that is difficult to grasp.

My sister was the same, wore boys clothes into ‘boyish’ stuff and when she was little even insisted that she was a boy lol. My parents let her dress however she wanted and pursue whatever interested her but we never told her she was transgender or that she was a boy, because she’s a girl who just so happens to like things that aren’t stereotypical to what other girls like. My friend had a daughter who from a young age gravitated towards male toys, activities clothes etc. She started picking things up at school regarding transgender told her mother when she was about 9 she was a boy now and her name was James. My friend told her firmly but politely - when you are 18 you can be whatever you want to be and you can call yourself a new name but until then you are my daughter and your name is the one I gave you. She allowed her to continue wearing short hair, boys clothes, and playing football that she loved etc. Guess how that panned out... Yes, she is now nearly 15 and looking like an Amazonian goddess! She definitely can't be mistaken for a boy anymore but doesn't want to be. It called growing up. It's a pity some parents don't.
Your story happens all the time for the past 6,000+ years. The difference is a transgender child doesn't stop, instead becoming more and more depressed. When a parent shuts down creativity they are not always doing the correct, moral or even good thing.
Yea people like this definitely do exist, but this is just growing up instead of gender dysphoria. It was obviously somewhat of a phase and that’s common and it’s something that people do sometimes grow out of. But it’s different with gender dysphoria. People with gender dysphoria will often feel the way your friends daughter did but their whole life, as if it’s not a phase but it’s who they truly are. I have a friend who from an early age they enjoyed typical male things and they are now a trans man. It was never a phase they grew out of, they’ve always been that way and they stuck that way. He’s always been a boy but stuck in a girls body. In cases like these you’ve just got to give it time to see if it’s a phase of self discovery, or if it’s truly gender dysphoria. The parents are doing the right thing in letting the girl express themselves, but if it is a phase then they can easily just be a boy again.

I am no expert on this topic but here’s my take: I believe that because we label objects/activities/interests as feminine or masculine, we set up children to become confused when they do not align with the average expectations and they begin to believe these things whether through others telling them or they come to these conclusions themselves. Myself personally, I was a “tomboy” and had attraction to females I was ashamed of. I didn’t want to be with women as a woman. I wanted to be with them as a male, perhaps because that was what seemed would be socially acceptable. However, I never experienced body dysmorphia in that regard and never truly wanted to be a male (most times). This is a complex discussion and must be handled with care. I believe we should allow children to express themselves at they would like without labels. Let kids be kids, love them as they are, teach them to respect others and themselves.

My son loved the feeling of a silk long slip on his head flowing down his back like hair. He loved laying in my long hair on the couch and pet it. When i got ready on the morning he pretended to do what I did because he lived with me not his dad. I mentioned to his dad he might want to show our 3 year old what it looks like for a man to get ready in the morning. As they spent more time together without any words DIRECTING HIM, we could see he was simply sensitive to fabrics and needed soft fabric against his skin, he wanted to be close to me so he like to lay in my hair after work and laugh and talk. This child said he was told by the MEDIA, how is that natural. How do children react to a happy parent , they do more of the same. His parents are making a large income from this child and his behavior , replicating what has made his parents happy. Almost all children play with both gender toys and clothes as a toddler. They move through it. Unless they are shown another path. If he went offline they would lose the income, that would be loving parenting. Do it without the audience, without getting paid. Then see what happens.

Children play, yes, yet when the day it's over so it's the game, it's not a source of deep emotional pain and discomfort not being a helicopter day and night, nor is being excluded from playing with their helicopter peers. Trans children are not playing make-believe, this is their identity, this is who they are. Now if you can't tell the difference between play and identity, I guess you are the one helicopter I was yet to meet.

My sister was the same, wore boys clothes into ‘boyish’ stuff and when she was little even insisted that she was a boy lol. My parents let her dress however she wanted and pursue whatever interested her but we never told her she was transgender or that she was a boy, because she’s a girl who just so happens to like things that aren’t stereotypical to what other girls like. She’s 18 now and still how she was many years ago only difference is she doesn’t have an identity crisis. She knows she’s a girl and what her interests are and what clothes she decides to wear doesn’t define that. I’m not againts those who identify as transgender. If someone doesn’t feel comfortable with the gender they were born with by all means identify as whatever you like. But man one thing that irks me is trying to convince children they’re something else just because they have unconventional interests

My friend had a daughter who from a young age gravitated towards male toys, activities clothes etc.
She started picking things up at school regarding transgender told her mother when she was about 9 she was a boy now and her name was James.
My friend told her firmly but politely - when you are 18 you can be whatever you want to be and you can call yourself a new name but until then you are my daughter and your name is the one I gave you.
She allowed her to continue wearing short hair, boys clothes, and playing football that she loved etc. Guess how that panned out...

Yea people like this definitely do exist, but this is just growing up instead of gender dysphoria. It was obviously somewhat of a phase and that’s common and it’s something that people do sometimes grow out of. But it’s different with gender dysphoria. People with gender dysphoria will often feel the way your friends daughter did but their whole life, as if it’s not a phase but it’s who they truly are. I have a friend who from an early age they enjoyed typical male things and they are now a trans man. It was never a phase they grew out of, they’ve always been that way and they stuck that way. He’s always been a boy but stuck in a girls body. In cases like these you’ve just got to give it time to see if it’s a phase of self discovery, or if it’s truly gender dysphoria. The parents are doing the right thing in letting the girl express themselves, but if it is a phase then they can easily just be a boy again.
I don't think transitioning is wrong, it's your life do whatever you want, but when it's a child that's another case like 1. how can a child decide who they are at such a young age it's a horrible thing to let happen. 2.the child might regret it in the future. 3.a kid can like anything no matter their gender, also aren't we fighting the stereotype of "girls can only like dolls, cooking, dressing *girly* and wearing pink, and boys can only like doing sports and wearing blue *boyish* clothes"? I am no expert on this topic but here’s my take: I believe that because we label objects/activities/interests as feminine or masculine, we set up children to become confused when they do not align with the average expectations and they begin to believe these things whether through others telling them or they come to these conclusions themselves. Myself personally, I was a “tomboy” and had attraction to females I was ashamed of. I didn’t want to be with women as a woman. I wanted to be with them as a male, perhaps because that was what seemed would be socially acceptable. However, I never experienced body dysmorphia in that regard and never truly wanted to be a male (most times). This is a complex discussion and must be handled with care. I believe we should allow children to express themselves at they would like without labels. Let kids be kids, love them as they are, teach them to respect others and themselves.

I am not against transgender but at that very young age the child can’t make a concrete decision yet for himself. His parents wanted him to become a girl. I don’t think that it is best decision for their child to transform him at very young age.
My son loved the feeling of a silk long slip on his head flowing down his back like hair. He loved laying in my long hair on the couch and pet it. When i got ready on the morning he pretended to do what I did because he lived with me not his dad. I mentioned to his dad he might want to show our 3 year old what it looks like for a man to get ready in the morning. As they spent more time together without any words DIRECTING HIM, we could see he was simply sensitive to fabrics and needed soft fabric against his skin, he wanted to be close to me so he like to lay in my hair after work and laugh and talk. This child said he was told by the MEDIA, how is that natural. How do children react to a happy parent , they do more of the same. His parents are making a large income from this child and his behavior , replicating what has made his parents happy.
Almost all children play with both gender toys and clothes as a toddler. They move through it. Unless they are shown another path. If he went offline they would lose the income, that would be loving parenting. Do it without the audience, without getting paid. Then see what happens.

What even is that argument? Look, it’s not like I would let my child get a tattoo or something before they’re old enough, but being transgender is not the same. Most trans individuals don’t regret transitioning, even if it’s from a young age. The only reason they would regret it or take their own life afterwards is due to social or personal backlash. Not to mention that gender dysphoria affects you no matter how old you are, and the same can be said for almost every mental disorder on the planet.
Honestly, how old is old enough for someone to transition? Give me a minimum age or something. Don’t be a smartass and answer with “you’re never old enough, no one should be trans ever.” That is truly idiotic and it isn’t a real answer. And it’s not like kids wake up one day and start wanting to be the other sex. For most trans people, they experience those desires for their whole lives. If you have a child who says they want to change their gender out of the blue, they’re just being a child. But if they’ve been thinking this way for their entire life up to that point, or even for a few years, it might be time to take them seriously.

It’s a horrible thing to think but I remember these people they were a CZcams couple many years ago doing pretty well for themselves but as with any social media career it was short lived.
