- The original Little Bear theme song intro. US aired version. One of my favorite children's cartoons. So innocent and charming. Daydreaming, talking animals. This song make me so happy, as I hope it does the same for you and to possibly bring back a great warmth of nostalgia.

I'm 18... I haven't heard this song in more than a decade. And it's still as vivid in my mind as it was back when I was a little kid. :O
I completely second this comment. I forgot this show existed, Wikipedia brought me here. 18 and still can remember how it flows. This might've been one of the first shows I'd ever watched, after Blue's Clues and Big Comfy Couch.
this song and show have that magical emotional evocation on people. Very few songs have that feeling like this one did, deeet time spite its brief.

This brings so much warm felt memories as a child. I'm 25 now but this intro takes me back to when I was a kid waking up in the morning making me some cereal and watching little bear. No worries in life ...good ol days

I use to watch this as a child and I recently started watching this again with my 2 year old nephew in the mornings. I favor this show above all others. It has great music, and it's so innocent and whimsical.
Exactly, I love how charming and old fashioned it is, it makes me feel relaxed and definitely like a kid again :)
Blue's Clues, Little Bear, Little Bill, even god forbid Dora The Explorer were shows I watched back in the day. I LOVE Little Bear, and when I wasn't watching Blue's Clues, this is what I watched. The things I would do to go back and relive the times of being innocent.

We were both 19 9 years ago and now we’re entering our 30’s. Time flies
100% agreed, and I'm turning 19 too. Childhood was so beautiful, so pure. If only I could regard present times the way I regard my childhood. I put those past times on such a high pedestal, I sometimes feel like no stage of my life could live up to it. This theme song means so much to me. Reminds me of staying home from kindergarden with a cold, sitting on the couch and eating rice pudding or something.

What I would give to live in a world where the unexpected was welcome and somewhat expected.
Running around looking forward to the familiar but at the same in a spirit of discovery, tasting everything this world willingly hands to us.
Looking at people and never imagining harm coming our way, looking at a frown and never once thinking it directed towards our person.
Sadness was real and joy inescapably contagious.
How blessed are we to capture such an abstract state within the soundtrack of a children's show? How amazing it is to be reminded of love, happiness, excitement in a peaceful rendering of classically inspired vibrations.
Why does such a moment often yields to melancholy? We are human after all and we know what may have lost or what we may never regain... hence the silent smile we gift to a child being a child

the unexpected is what occurs in a way that one cannot predict. It comes in forms unknown and not experienced by most.
With this in mind the following phrase "unexpected was welcome and expected" is simply an image to indicate that one opens one's mind and looks for experiences that one has never had before. This show never gets old
This show was like a daydream. The pace and the music gave it a charm that stuck out to me among the other children's shows I watched. Although it did make me tired often :)

This was my favorite show as a kid. I'm 19 now, and when I listen to this song, it brings me back to my carefree childhood, and it makes me tear up. Where did the years go.
I'm 31 and the theme song made me tear up inside. Nick Jr Shows like Gula Gula Island, Franklin, Busy World of Richard Scarry, and Little Bear are so nostalgic. Time really passes you by, enjoy the good times while they last.
I'm 32 and this was probably my favorite show at the time out of all the ones I remember watching. It really does pass by.

This song immediately relaxes me.
Going on 20 and I'm still in love with this show... Its nothing like any other because of the music they have and the warmth of the storyline and characters...(sigh) how I miss this show OH so much....

My grandma used to tape every episode for me when i was little. I still have the tapes because they remind me of her and my childhood.
I just had thought about this show and had to look it up. I gave me a little tear in my eye. Wow! This takes me way back in my childhood. I haven’t heard this song in over 20+ years. I used to love little bear as a kid and mother also had video recordings of tapes and everything of this show years ago.

Oh my gosh, I saw this on my tv guide and I just had to watch it for old times... and it was my favorite episode. I almost started crying.
Ugh...the last bit with Little Bear laughing and everyone together makes me almost cry! I REMEMBER that part SPECIFICALLY from my younger days! Nearly twenty (one month) and lovin' this show!

It's the nostalgia factor for most people. Shows that you grew up with often become interesting to grown adults.
I don't watch the shows for the usual type of entertainment, but just to remember watching it when I was a child.
This cartoon was so simple there wasnt a million things going on at once jus little bear and his friends and thats what made me love it sooo much

I love putting on little bear and falling asleep to the beautifully composed music and the pure innocence of this cartoon. It truly puts you back in a childlike state when watching.

Adanna Purple my dad used to watch button moon when he was younge aha, and he used to let me stay up until 6pm and watch it with him :')

i was watching this with my 4 year cousin alex, i started to tear up. she asked me "are you ok mike?" i told her yes, she didnt believe me so she asked if i was sure that i was ok. Then i told her that i grew up watching Little Bear, and that watching it brings back alot of wonderful childhood memories of my old house. She gave me a big hug and we continued to watch it.
i hope this will still be around when i decide to have kids, its beautiful classic

This was my SHOW!! I was in love with it; still am!! Memories. I feel like crying too. lol These were cartoons. Such a shame kids these days just don't appreciate shows like this one and that the tv channels don't even bother to promote them to kids. If I ever have kids, I'll make sure to make them watch this if I can. :)

Ugh, I wish they aired this all day everyday. I love this cartoon so much that the first time I saw it again (a month or so ago) I was litterally hit with a wave of nostalgia. I was remembering all of the characters and all of the amazing adventures Little Bear and his friends found. I have to say that when Little Bear meets with the whale ( right next to when he meets the mermaid), is my favorite episode. So much love for this!
