Sweet! I remember hearing "Dog & Butterfly" on the pop radio station I used to listen to while working on projects in the garage when I was a kid in the seventies. I was ten or eleven. This version is stripped of the drums and keyboards that fill out the studio recording. The concert is from 2002 when "unplugged" versions of live songs were still popular.
I feel blessed to have been able to watch their acoustic performance video, Empress. It highlights The Wilson sisters professional and expert musical talent.
I only wish I could give this video two 'likes'.

Great song by Heart to react to..First time hearing this was about 1977..Just as a Dog chasing and trying to catch the Butterfly relates to we or us chasing and reaching for your dreams, never giving up until you attain them...

I so agree with you! I've been a HUGE Heart fan for over 40yrs. They still are my fav band of all time but, this is one of my least favs. I just can not get into this song. I don't like it. Never have. I don't understand why it's a fan favorite either. 🤷🏻♀️
