EdX has been on my radar for some time now and have been wanting to learn more about it. This answered so many of my questions. Thank you! Great video!
I have just completed my Micro Master in Instructional Design and Technology. I checked they provide exactly the same courses in their direct Uni brochure but the price was like "i don't want to compare it...... you already knew the price of a year's worth price in US Uni." I only paid for 1.2K$ and was even able to apply for financial aid and got 90%. After completing the course, I have my portfolio set for the interview. I have no idea what it will be like, but so far, this is the best experience i have ever encountered. The rubric of what they look for provides me a better insight into what i can achieve after completing the program. I am now in the process of transferring the transcript release from the University of Maryland. It takes efforts but edX is my most recommended compared to another E-learning platform in terms of the program syllabus.

Which financial aid where you able to obtain?
@@Ragnar__Lothbrok you can find it in the edX financial aids just type the keyword and look for the courses you wanted to write for the financial aids.
I’m about to start my micomasters for cybersecurity is micro masters worth it?
I already completed 3 courses. 2 from Harvard University, and one from Princeton University. I'm happy.😊
Are all the courses written ?
I applied for a course but it was a written material and i hadn’t heard from anyone that it could be video based courses
@@user-il4jc2ld1c Some are videos, and articles. The questions are multiple choice.
I would like to ask something.. If you successfully complete a course, do you get a certification or do you have to complete the entire program that the course belongs to in order to get the certification?

@@Aksd7777 you will get certificate for the course if the course's are considered indivisual
I have learned so much from edX, I started in 2020 and am still there studying , have acquired 20 certifications in various subjects , started off with Harvard architectural studies and went into engineering, Princeton , Delft , , MIT, world bank ,etc. it is worth the time put forth and the accomplishments of adding such certificates to my portfolio.
did you had any previous education before edx? and was you able to get a job after finishing courses?
@@carlosfrankie3804 I have had previous education , but I chose to attend EdX online which was easier for me and I have the advantage of to study at my own pace, in the comfort of my home. Of course it is your own personal choice to do so . But to me it is worth every minute.

Needed to hear more about what can be done free and what the others actually cost. An example of any kind....
I'm now working on a MicroMaster on Global Development from University of Queensland via edX platform. I think it is really worthwhile to invest your time. I got learned world class quality education with a fraction, fraction of cost by this program. It's seem like a dream before such technology and edX.

I'd love to, but It really depends, as I'm full time employed and fanancial implications will be a barrier to pursue on compus full degree.
