First time I went to this ground was when my team peterborough United was in a friendly this year and I have got to say its a lovely ground much more better than old ground Underhill stadium.

When we were kids in the 1940s where the council houses are on Camrose Avenue, there was iron railings, with war time allotments, there was oak trees in the field. The field had wooden changing rooms, there were football pitches and cricket pitches, which were used at the weekend.During the week London school kids used the site for sports. Then Thatcher put the block on playing fields for kids.It lay idle till Harrow Council got involved.During the war there was search lights and ack ack guns on the site plus trenches. Its good to see that the ground is being use. When we were kids we called it the hay field because they cut the grass and would leave it. Thanks for the video memories.
