Nice video. Unfortunately one of many showing fishing from an expensive, as fully equipped, boat. Although it sometimes seems everyone is having one I still believe most are trying to fish from shore and are having a really hard time.
Cracking video and some lovely fish guys….. looks like the weather was quite cold and noticed you were putting quite a lot of action into the Fishing lures which is totally different to what I have seen people doing when the weather is cold. Keeping everything slow and low apparently is the way to go. Obviously not in this case. I’m quite new to lure fishing and to work for you guys. Anyway, any information would be much appreciated. Usually few times a day. 10-15min windows. The hottest sun light of the day, rocky bottom. I fish in Finland during the normal ice fishing season at the streams with these. Basic spinning gear. They are hungry so the reaction is the key, speed, pause, catch.
It indeed seems that we are fishing fast, but it’s hard twitches to make the baits move from left to right, while we dont reel in a lot. Then followed by a hangtime of sometimes 1-4 seconds. When we fish on long stretches, this is a little powerfishing,. But when hitting a very good looking spot, we also tend to slow down a bit sometimes.

In clear and cold water you can see the fish. Twitch twitch, cup of coffee and the looser eats the bait. Not for everybody but I love that kind of Poker. Pikes usually spoil the party. @@hugohegeman445
