Can anyone explain why the 46T carbon blanks are no longer used for the SG6 Salmonoid rods? The older Salmonoid CCS rods had them. Perhaps a durability issue? The new SG6 Salmonoid rods also seem to be branded as Coastal Specialists. Which rod would you prefer, the older 46T carbon blank or the newer 30T/40T carbon blank? The newer rod also has a Fuji reel seat if you’re into that.

Wels catfish..probably in Spain (they were introduced there and tend to grow larger than up north). You can find videos of them jumping on shore and eating pigeons. As a note, when i was in Germany, i saw a guy tossing a stick into a canal playing fetch with his German Shepard. A wels pulled it under and presumably ate it since the dog wasn't seen again.

I am so glad you released that fish. That’s a breeder. One of the coolest thing you can do is release a trophy to breed. I never feel worthy of killing certain fish. I’m getting soft hell no I love to eat fish…. out of the ocean Raw sometimes even. But I have a deep passion for fresh water fish like bass. I like throwing them back Most of the time. Got to feed the fam when blessed it’s Moderation and being a True Fisherman or Woman. Fish are cool 😎 🤙🏼💯
