Absolutely. Dan Campbell's first year coaching for the Lions back in 2021, at least he was able to build around the experience next year and now here we are.

Growing up as a Lions fan and seeing how we've struggled for years, IT'S EXCITING and refreshing to see the Lions play this kind of football. Hats off to Dan Campbell's leadership. It's making a difference.
I as well grew up a lions fan. But I became an absolute HATER. I always said they would always be the most pathetic team in the NFL. Every year. I’m very happy to be proven wrong. Not SOL anymore with MCDC.

@miltongloster they only really played bad once this year against the Seahawks. They allowed 20 points to the chiefs, 6 to the falcons, 20 to the packers and only really allowed 17 today until they let up because the game was won, plus they had two interceptions. I think they’re already a top 15 defense
Jared Goff having more rushing TDs than Justin Fields through the first five games is not a stat I expected to see.
He didn't even get a rushing TD for the Lions until this season. Sports can be very unpredictable.
Fields is an open field runner, Bears don't use him like Hurts.

I was at the game too. Drove from SC to see it. I couldn't jump how I wanted to because our 1.5 year old was with us 😂 glad we didn't travel this far to see them lose

@@eljoshsfgaming6335 Seems that way to me, as well. As soon as Bryce started rocketing balls deep downfield things started to look hot for the Panthers. Hopefully we'll get to see more of what Young can do once people start seeing more of those deep and intermediate passes. I think the O-line is a big contributor to what we've see out of the Panthers so far so I'm not sure what they can realistically accomplish until that's improved.
Gotta find an ELITE GM & Coaching staff first!!!

In my over 50 years of watching my Lions. We have never had what we have now. This is all different. For the past. Our young Lions don’t know a losing culture. Only a winner.
This Lions team has been the most exciting team to watch. Their biggest improvement has been the play of their defense. Dan Campbell has been putting his foot on their necks, making sure every game they play has an importance and purpose

I was impressed by the Lions 2 years ago with their no-quit attitude and determination. These guys are the real deal. Very fun to watch. Hope they win a Super Bowl soon.

As a life long Lions fan, I'm not expecting them to take the Super Bowl this year but it is really exciting to watch them perform well. They've been an NFL joke for a long time, but they have some real momentum with this team. I feel like they used to be a team nobody wanted to play for, but for the first time in a long time they have players that actually want to play for the Lions.

@@donbur1553 Well I think Lions definitely shouldn't be discounted, especially in the NFC, but unless your team has had a lot of success in recent seasons, it's a tall order for many fans to suddenly raise their expectations from 'didn't even get to the playoffs last year' to 'I expect we can win the Superbowl' the next. Just saying, winning a SB is hard and requires some luck as well. Getting up expectations too much often leads to disappointment for many, so it's easier to keep treating yourselves as the underdogs and appreciate what success you do get.

As a Steelers fan,.I would like to see the Lions in the Superbowl (and possibly win one). This Lions team is too fun to watch and I wouldn't expect anything less than making the playoffs. They honestly should have made the playoffs last year.

Best throwing performance from Goff. He led the recievers and placed the ball in locations to allow for more yards after the catch. Im happy to see my team that I've been watching since I was a child for 20+ years spring together wins.

He’s not underrated at home base, everyone knows how important Sutton is to this defense, top 2 secondary player next to Branch. Cam is mr dependable, when you are dependable and consistent as a corner you can easily go unnoticed, but WE notice!!

I'm a lifelong Panthers fan, but I honestly feel so happy for Lions fans. Y'all spent decade after decade after decade dealing with your team being one of the NFL's punching bags. But now, your team has massively improved and is looking more and more like a playoff contender.
It's bound to be many, MANY years before my team can ever reach that point of improvement; but for now, I wish your team nothing but the best of luck as they aim to make it to the playoffs.

Ram fan here. Lions with Goff look a lot like 2018 Rams before Todd Gurley got hurt. Lots of credible play action fact. Lots of Jets sweep. Some razzle dazzle. Some gutsy 4th down calls.

The dude is tough as nails and may sell the play action game better than anyone I have ever seen. Goff is the QB we didn't know we needed.
Craig Reynolds is so fun to watch. If given the chance i can see him becoming RB1 somewhere. His starts, stops, and acceleration are very impressive.
Or he can stay there and be part of a great Team in the making, dont always have to be the #1 to be successful.
Depending on Montgomery and Gibbs health and longevity with the team, RB Reynolds will not be there long. I believe that one drive is enough to be on another team's radar.

It’s great to see Goff playing at such a high level in Detroit. This team may be in the NFC championship. They have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball.
Also it was so good to see Young playing kickass after the interception. That’s the mark of a true professional.
I think the most important thing for them is to get a playoff game at HOME. Then anything may be possible.

This is the most comfortable I have been in a while in our boys. Even with all the injuries today, they handled their business. Years ago we loss guys and were in trouble. Finally we have a GM that understands the importance of depth

Lions делали красивые розыгрыши в атаке. Особенно понравился TD LaPorta, когда в backfield игроки Lions в динамике движения сделали три передачи и только четвертая передача полетела за линию схватки в сторону EZ
Защита Lions также провела отличный матч! Очень неуступчиво играли в своей RZ. Спровоцировали у соперника три потери владения. Стабильное давление на QB Panthers. Молодцы!
По Lions один вопрос: корпус RB играет очень эффективно, но где тот парень, которого выбрали в первом раунде драфта 2023?
У Panthers временами получается уверенное ведение атаки через пас, но Young (QB) допускает перехваты. O-line не умеет защитить своего QB от давления. D-Line пыталась давлеть над QB Lions, но Goff четко и быстро играл под давлением!
