I thought something happened to Agnes with the title! Thank goodness she is all right. I've been a fan of hers for many years now! She is a natural as she was raised this way. I love watching her and her showing her daughters how to perform the skills she has.

I watched til the end. Agnes’ heritage provides her with such a well of strength to draw from. She is pretty amazing.

This is the best documentary/reality show and watch every show 4-5 times at least.
Many Native American tribes, the Women are the main , important part of the family. Some women hunt and some are not allowed. She's the one who feeds, plants/harvest, gathers wood, cooks, cares for the children and husband, and prepares for ceremonial events. There is no time off or sick time for her. My mom told me when you have children there is no such thing as being sick. She was right.

I watched till the end. Life below zero is such an educational show I absolutely love watching it.
I not only stayed to the end, I actually worked for National Geographic for 40 years in the Photo Dept, and my wife in T.V. We have been retired for 16 years.
I watched her in the National Geographic episode life below zero. She is the warrior of the present time. No one, Nobody can top her skills and ability in hunting. A good wife, mother, grandma and wise woman. She’s Agnes, Super Woman.

People that have not hunted in extreme cold have no idea how extra hard it really is or the immense work involved once you have an animal downed, to cut, haul,clean and prepare. This is a younger peoples world, and it will age you quicker. I have hunted in blizzards and cold and it can take a lot out of you, and coming back empty handed makes one even more determined, hunting is the art of turning nothing into a fighting chance plain and simple. I wish everyone could see what I have seen, I know these people have seen even harsher conditions and been successful.
I still watch the show and will watch to the end.

I love Life below zero. It is my go to program. I enjoy watching live and rerun each episode several times. I feel like the folks in the DISCOVERY series are family and hate for anyone to go away. I live the Grit Agnes shows and how she seems to keep her family togather.

Daddy Hailstone was not my favorite character. He did grow on me though and I grew to appreciate him more and more. I actually thought he was just someone who wanted to "beat the system" and that never sat well with me.

Yeah, it comes from the Mongol empire that was ran by Genghis Khan. Look at the people in Mexico and all the way down to South America. And the Siberian Yupiks in Russia, even Mongolians. It all started from mongols

Life below zero was our all time favorite, always wanted NG to create a show around the Hailstones. We have no problem supporting a man (chip)protecting his family. Unfortunately the law is not always on the up and up. Seriously how can you get video proof of something that took place in such a remote area.
