Hi Leah, oh my goodness you have been through a tough time, and I agree its never nice and you do always worry before any sort of procedure. I had a colonoscopy about 5 years ago, with very similar lead up to you. My drink was green from memory and when I went for the consultation the receptionist also suggested to me (even though it wasn't on the brochure) to NOT eat any meat the week before I had it done as that would help with cleaning out my bowels. The drink was exhausting but I wasn't on the loo for too long, I'm sure it was because I had a very clean diet the week before. And I was completely knocked out for the procedure, so I didn't feel a thing. Have a lovely week x

Thanks for sharing. It’s interesting how they do things so differently in different countries. I only had the option of sedation or not being sedated.

Wow???? Your prep is soo much mite intense than ours here in the USA! We drink like 8 liters of a combo of powder laxatives and some laxative oils! We drink with either ginger ale or apple juice and that’s it! I couldn’t drink anymore but we al get anesthesia now it’s unless you don’t want it and we get general anesthesia! I’m glad I was out to be honest! After I woke up they said the all clear! My mom and I went together and in 8 yrs time (we had them 2yrs ago) we will go again! Glad all went well for you ! X

Hi Leah, I'm slowly catching up on video's, I'm so behind atm-i had a colonoscopy about 13yrs ago, and I was sedated too-they found a polyp and sent it off and thankfully it came back okay but found i had a tear-wondered if the procedure had changed or similar, it seems to have changed a bit since i had one done. Tfs hun, and glad it all went well for you 😀💕xxx

Sorry it's taken so long to reply, I've not been very active on CZcams for quite some time. Glad everything was fine for you. I've now gone dairy free and it seems to be helping with some of the problems I was having. xx
