In this video you can learn how to setup EFK stack in Kubernetes Cluster To Monitor Web application logs.
The EFK stack is a collection of open-source tools that are commonly used for log management and analysis.
Elasticsearch: This is a distributed search and analytics engine that is used to store and index data.
Fluentd: This is a data collector that is used to aggregate logs from various sources, such as applications, servers, and network devices.
Kibana: This is a web-based user interface that is used to visualize and analyze data stored in Elasticsearch.
Together, the EFK stack provides a powerful and flexible solution for collecting, storing, and analyzing log data from multiple sources.
It is often used in modern cloud-based environments, such as Kubernetes, to provide centralized logging and monitoring capabilities for applications and services.

Excellent!!! 👏👏👏
Thank You
How can I capture machine logs, including syslogs and Nginx logs (since there is an Nginx reverse proxy on the master node), as well as application logs inside pods when they are running ?
awesome !!!
Thanks Ashok. you explained well.

Nice demo..!!
Thanks!
Nice explanation. I have seen multiple videos of EFK or ELK for kubernetes and all youtubers are showing already created manifest file. They simply say all files are saved in github repository. Nobody is expaining that how they created manifest files and what content we have to mention in it and where they found content for manifest file. Explaining through already created manifest file can be done by anybody but please explain from where and how you created manifest file.
Thanks Ashok
You're welcome
@@ashokit thank you so much Ashok IT i have suscribe you chainel keep post such a great contents 🙏
Thank you.
But what if my application pod gets restarted and I need to see the logs of pods which was shutdown for analysis. Can we store our logs in kibana set-up?
Elastic-search's logstash stores the logs even for deleted pods.
good for demo purpose but in real time we need to enable persistance
Hi Ashok,
May i know why we are not using the latest Elasticsearch versions?? Instead of 7.X series
If anyone knows kindly reply.
And one more thing if I want Xpack security enable to setup login page for kibana. How can achieve that in 7.x.x series
My elastic search pods using high cpu and memory what is the solution?
where we can find the manifest?
I have successfully set up everything and can retrieve the logs. However, the issue lies in obtaining logs directly from files within the container, rather than relying on 'kubectl logs.' Do you have any ideas or hints on how to achieve this?
Hi Danial,
Did you find any solution ?
