Now that I finished it, I actually had my own 24-ish hour session of gaming in November this past year (I made it to about 18 hours) and funny enough, I played and beat Shinobi 3 cause when I was a kid I was killer at that game, years of frustrating practice though. I did a ton of retro games in my play, from NES to PS2 and Xbox as the top. Itching to do it again, it’s so much fun.

Returnal Biome 2 the last cypher is peak gaming
Shinobi 3 on the ps2 would have been running in 60hz (usa version).
The pal megadrive would run in 50hz - so the ps2 gameplay would have been smoother and faster, however i often prefer 50hz pal games as they give you more time to react to situations in the game and can be less stressful than 60hz as they run that little bit slower!

You beat your record and played some tough/brutal games too. I think the longest I've played is around 8-10 hours. Taking breaks is key as it can really strain your eyes after a while. You did awesome and loved the video. Looking forward to seeing you playing Mario 2 on the gameboy, 6 golden coins is amazing.

When Borderlands 2 was released, myself and two close friends made a pact to play non stop for at least 48 hours, we only lasted 40 hours, I couldn't do this again, really strange witnessing two sunrises without sleeping 😂😂

My longest play session was dark souls 2 release day with my best mate, 2 tvs and beers. We did 19 hours before my eyes felt like burning rocks in my skull 😂.

Great effort bud glad you got that last one in too beat 8. Don't no if I could have left shinobi on the last level I would use them last 6 hours of the 24 with a fresh head and spend it trying to finish it

Tried completing shinobi 3 last year on the MD and I had to give up in the end one of the hardest if not the hardest game I have ever played. I think I even broke my MD controller. Luckily enough I had a spare.

my longest gaming session was probably 14 hours. 8 hours playing Morrowind and 6 hours playing Jade Empire on the original xbox. I didn't complete either of them at that time but it wasn't about completing them I was playing them as I enjoyed playing them and being emersed in there worlds.

Ive beat Shinobi 3 legit. It took some practice, but it’s so damn good I didn’t mind. I played it over Xmas 2018.
