With all the bundles you’d think you’d find in a charity shop, a not so popularly bought at the time console like the Wii u is not what you’d expect. Very fitting that the console you fully completed is the one you got on that charity run! Cheers again for that hook up! Yet to shoot my shot and message!

Great vlog as always! Fantastic work with the Maximum Carnage. Best find I had was Pokemon Yellow "unboxed" for £35. Traded the cartridge back to Cex the next day so essentially got the box for £12. That boxed is £100 game! Love it when cex do boxed items for unboxed prices

You've reminded me to grab MK Shaolin Monks. I used to own it but it's gone missing. Not sure what's happened there. There's a copy local to me so I'm going to try and get it tomorrow. It's a really good beat em up. I got pretty far in it but then I got stuck. I couldn't figure out where to go next. Good co-op game too.

Once again some blinding pick ups and great vlog. Always look forward to the Sunday vid with a nice mug of tea. Over the years had some great deals with cex, under priced mainly steel books as the charge the same price as normal edition. But as far as catching slipping my local cash gen had them good. About 3 years ago like New 2ds xl boxed fantastic. Under priced at 35 quid. At the time was nearly 200 in argos. But still really held there price. In cex at the moment going for 195 quid. So 35 was a steal. Look forward to next week's episode. 👍🎮🕹

Literally picked up aces of the Luftwaffe yesterday and been beasting through it. Just got both campaigns done. Gets solid towards the end. Have you looked into food4dogs if you want to see passion for gaming by the older generation.

@@RetroGhetto To be honest I cant complain I've got some pretty big hitters coming up I've stumbled across in the wild. I've been on a bit of a shmup kick the past few days, gone back to work on Sisters Royale and having a blast, even if it is over in about 15 mins.
I've actually begun work on part 2, doesn't mean ill get it dont anytime soon though.

I’ve been ordering some fairly expensive games (£25+) on the OG Xbox, Dreamcast etc…I’ve been sent absolute garbage. Horrifically scratched or drop-damaged discs, no manuals, faded and mouldy inlays, it’s been real bad 😫

Great vlog mate and again i loved the hustle when it came to getting Maximum Carnage.
I cant believe how much the Psikyo Collections go for on the Switch. I know its not a fair comparison, by the standard editions on the PS4 in Japan are less than £20 each I think. I was also shocked to see how my R-Type Final 2 was on the Switch. I'm glad I got all of them for retail on their big box format. In fact I managed to snag both Psikyo Collections for less than retail as I bought them when they went into sale. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you'll NEVER lose money on a shooter, no matter how bad a game it is there will always be someone out there willing to pay for them.
The GunBird games are SO much fun, very simple gameplay to them, but they're really good and quite the challenge too. That PS2 collection is pretty decent to be fait and pretty good ports.
I'm disappointed as I wanted to know what you picked up from Wellgosh. Its a shame but if you jump into bed with JD then there's always that risk that they'll close you down, though maybe during the pandemic things got tight and they had to, to stay afloat. JD bought out a few of the big indies Oi-Polloi and Hip, the former they recently sold Mike Ashley. I think Hip & Wellgosh were quiet similar in terms of brands stocked so I guess JD thought why have both of them on the books and Wellgosh got the chop.
Oh and I'm definitely going to check out that channel, he don't look that much older then me lol.
You got me wanting to eat some bad foods now lol. I started on a healthy eating kick a few weeks back and I've already started to see the pounds dropping off.

I’d say it’s like playing a uncharted , kept me on the edge of my seat so far with all the falling off ledges and making me play stealthy when usually I don’t like that but great so far 👌🏼
That was a great vlog. My mind tends to struggle with modern games in the first person, even the great ones like the Timesplitters games, so do not buy them as much as I get stuck very early on. For CEX deals, I have just been lucky at buying games I know about at reasonable prices just before the prices rise to. I would say WWE Day Of Reckoning 2 for GameCube and Lollipop Chainsaw on XBOX 360 for six pounds each were my best bargains at CEX.

Hey dude, another good video. CEX tip, if you want to buy a game and you are going to go to the store. Just click, collect in store and you can get it from that store. It guarantees you will get it and if you don't like the condition, you can return it then and there. Due to the fact you still have the rights of 7 days, when you buy it online of a no questions asked return vs instore which is 48hrs. I used to work for CEX a looong time ago. Oh, and stuff that CEX was slipping on. I have too many stories from when I was working there and not.

Do you ever find that the CEX you go into ever gets stale? My local CEX stock rarely ever changes, been on the eye out for SNES games but they hardly ever change - do you think they have cycle the stock around the country?
Obviously visiting my local CEX weekly means I've seen a lot of the stick, but they often have new bits in and I always have something to trade, so always worth visiting

I dont know if you just didnt film them but there was another 3 charity shops in bulwell and a little retro gaming shop as well, that cex was lucky for me when i went in once, i was paying for something and noticed a bag of ps1 games on the floor behind the counter so i asked the manager if someone had just traded them in and he said some customer had tried to trade them in but they wernt on the system so they couldnt take em and the customer said just keep em and bin for all i care, i asked what he was going to do with them as i would have them and he just gave them to me!!! A bag with 20 plus ps1 games, two of them were worth over 30 pounds, the manager was a sound guy, made quite a but of money on them free games 😀

I have also noticed when searching the CEX app that Bulwell often comes up as having things in stock that I'm interested in, there are a couple others I've noticed too
Also had the same issue with them throwing away the outer cardboard collector set boxes, I was lucky and they got it out of the bin for me when I asked, guess I must have been lucky that it must have only come in that day👍✌️

CEX here in the Netherlands only stocks games from the PS2 era and up, unfortunately.
I have found that they do pay very decent for some items, so I don't know why many people here in NL are saying they never pay well at all. You just have to be very selective with what you turn in.

So if you want to have it looking better in your collection that’s an option.

I've been finding good N64 games at my local CEX I paid about a fiver for Killer instinct gold, £6 for 1080 ,all I need is NBA Hangtime and Tony Hawk's Pro skater 2 and I'll have all my old games for N64 back 👍👍

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing the other day that maybe it would be more logical if "Game" simply changed it's name to "Toys" - for it's just about all that they sell, these days!! The irony is that "Smyths" probably has a better selection of video games at better prices, and they are a toy shop!

Nothing to do with the content of the video at all, but it's crazy seeing some of the Gamecube game prices a year on. A lot have actually dropped significantly. Mario Sunshine is down from £28 to £18, Metroid Prime is down from £20 to £12, and there are a fair few more behind that glass that have really dropped down.
