This is the kind of open honesty we needed from Jeremy Mayfield. I don't feel like Randy held back on anything
The law it self wasn’t honest. All the cops that raided his place are in jail or fired for being dirty cops. Brian France outta NASCAR for speeding and popping pills.
Jeremy sure did....
Yeah if you seen someone on Meth before you don't believe he never done it.
the truth will set you free!
Best interview from Dirty Mo Media to date and this needs to be one video. Though I don't agree with Randy's early life style, I do apperciate his unwavering honesty.
Honesty? My ass.
@@PatBuckleyracecar know something we don’t??
please load up the entire interview, for those of us that use closed captions and cant listen to a podcast
This interview could go on for hours. Such a terrific guest. 👍
This is good stuff man.......Ol Randy is a true Wildman!!! would had loved to been able to run with that cat back in the day!!!
Such a great story teller. I don't follow racing, but can't resist this story. The fact you know it's a great story made me subscribe.
All the stories are great. Dale, Mike, Matthew, and the big table seem to bring out the best stories in everybody. You won’t be disappointed.
No doubt this is the most interesting personality you have had on the show to date and probably for a long long time to come.
I listened to the entire podcast, loved it, and now I’m buying the book!
Awesome interview Dale..,great job guys
Love this podcast
Thanks For Uploading
Please release this as one long video.
They never release the full video, but you can listen to the whole thing through podcast apps.
Can't wait to read his book.
Wow ! Some serious stuff !
Please upload the whole interview. This is awesome
Yea they need to upload their entire podcast to some video platform, these snippets dont make me go somewhere else to finish listening. I like to watch.
They're on Peacock. $5 a month.
@@acebragg5559 Thats why i dont see them 😂
@@chrisd078 Same here.
@@acebragg5559 It doesn't those of us that aren't in the US who don't have access to Peacock. Best we get are the podcasts with no video.
Drugs, fights and prison riots! Who could pass on clicking that video? Sounds like my early 20s.
The podcast has much more information than the short videos but the podcast is just audio.
IMSA: International Marijuana Smugglers Association.
So awesome to be friends with John P Jr.
Great 👍
I watched the "Need for Weed" episode.
Holy cow.
Some of the most compelling TV I've seen in my life.
Let this man talk!
Post the full podcast on here please
Amazing thing about Leavenworth Prison (its a Federal facility- the military prison is next door at the Fort) is that it sits right adjacent to Fort Leavenworth, an Army base. If you EVER get a chance to tour Fort Leavenworth , DO IT . I have NEVER felt safer (even though you are a stones throw away from the most dangerous people in the country- Army security is THAT good) or prouder to be an American than I was at Fort Leavenworth. It is the Prototype to how EVERY American city should feel.
Oh the Eighties were so much fun, work hard play hard was the motto back then 👍
Don’t forget the prison part then the recession.
Yesterday Proved Why Nascar needs to get the First Race at Michigan back!
Damn glad I missed going to Leavenworth.
First part of this video reminds me of the old saying " went to a fight and a race broke out".
Cant believe hes on Junior podcast! Hated Earnhardt. Loved this story on Netflix blew my mind. The passion to race. Ability to make it happen any way possible. And listening to podcast many times for the love of racing has opened up my mind to much a do w Earnhardt Jr. For the love of racing
He should of put that on the hood. Black Car w/a Lime Green Weed plant on the hood the glows in the dark. 1 day. If I was Jr i'd put my face on all my cars😂🇺🇸
Damn....
When will the whole episode be on peacock??
I grew up drag racing ... so since 1971 I got the bug and always went and hung out with a lot of nhra teams ... let me tell you there is so much dirt on that sport I know about ... same thing with drug smuggling ... even a few deaths from it ... I guess anywhere money's involved there will be crime ...
Can I listen to the whole podcast on CZcams, anyone know?
what jay said please release the full video. i listened to it on the podcast but its way better watching it
It's on Peacock
Dang that prison sounds pretty sweet..golf, movie theater, soccer field..state prison isn't like that
Feds have the money to fund their penal system. They don’t have to do a “prison for profit” system like some states do
Anybody know how I can watch the full podcast with video
I hope they fired whoever TF put Silence of the Lambs on in a Prison😳😳😳
... the dude is very cool, he omitted that during the riot, they were walking the yard tripping on acid when it began; can you imagine that pressure on the old noggin
Why are you treating these guys like Rockstars?
Maybe I’m too innocent. Why would they show silence of the lambs to an auditorium full of prisoners?
hype music haha
They could do a movie of his interesting life.
He says in the interview that he just signed a movie deal, so I guess we’ll get to see one.
The netflix doc is pretty interesting.
Is it true that Lanier raceway, right over the street from Road Atlanta was named after Randy?
Weird- I knew a Jon Paul in the 70`s-- had lot`s of money- rebuilt a P-40 WW2 plane from pieces. Drove around in a Kingswood Chevy wagon with holes in his shoes. Fun guy- he and his wife and airplanes all lived in Alamo country club in CA. - he would B in his 90`s now. Makes me wonder if he was part of the race n/deal n family- I was always under the sumption owned a truck n company !!! By the way I did fly in that plane with him.
He would be 83 today.
I ran street stock and modifieds at wall stadium in NJ in the '80 let's just say weed money funded a lot of the people that ran there and at least one of their sons are "NASCAR stars" today
WTF...??? CRAZY!!!
Great interview. Interesting stories. Now just waiting for all the holier than thous to chime in with the "Glorifying a criminal" and "Can't believe you'd talk to a bong toker" BS
It's pot. Your not destroying people's life's like dope and crack. We all know who these guys work for though.
@@duanebailey6253 I have no issue with it at all. I was referring to the ones that love to cry and complain because they think weed is the worst thing a person could ever do
@@raybolster9250 And he was talking about the 80s. The entire state of Florida was a huge smugglers den. I personally know of a small airstip which was used. Far inland where it wouldn't be expected. A lot of major businesses got their start from that pirate money and still in business today. Customs and Coast Guard smartened up and pretty much shut all of that down. Now smugglers just drive across the border from Mexico or walk it in. Easier, but not nearly as adventurous or imaginative.
@@slartybarfastb3648 it's safer and easier why not. The people pay the cartels already and they cut out the middle man. Almost like it's done on purpose.
@@slartybarfastb3648 Yes I'm aware of where he's talking about. Like I said, it's a great interview. I personally loved it. I'm just poking fun at some of the comments I've seen posted on other clips from the interview from people going after Jr for having such a "horrible criminal" on his show.
How can I find the pod cast for Dale Jr. Not into how to find things on here

Apple Podcasts.
Stitcher.
Audible.
Google Podcasts.
TuneIn Radio.
Thank-you Google is my plat form so I'll check there 👍
There are no coincidences. That's no joke folks.
Think Junior, so many racers were drug smugglers back then because auto racing requires big FUNDING!
DAMN JOHN PAUL was running weed to support racing as well.
Coke
I need more than drug runner stories bud
I know the old warden of Leavenworth listens to this podcast, maybe he will verify the stories.
Dam how many people in motorsports are into drug smuggling. I know racing is expensive but what the hell.
The kinda people that get the high on life from doing something dangerous.
7:36 Prison life, putt putt course and soccer field. 🙄
it's good for anyone who can be reformed, BUT, have to be careful about glorifying crime/prison/etc. not good.
Gary Bejou
@@7mtex300 Thanks not sure of spelling. Know sat in stands for Snow ball Derby in think 80s or late 70s and Ball Gasaway and another big NASCAR official were standing right behind us watching infield. Well found out later from a couple of drivers we know that the big rental van in the infield that the back kept going up and down on was full of weed and we keep seeing the black bags coming out over all three days. It was Gary's NASCAR was on to them and was watching to see what was going on.
I farded mine pant and a lil pee came out
It would be an interesting story in itself if the reason behind his release from a life imprisonment is ever released…..
My guess is that he only ever dealt with weed and didn't have any violent charges. I think we, as a country, have gone back and cut sentences for non-violent prisoners where weed was the only thing they were dealing.
Obama pardoned him along with lots of other non-violent drug offenders. It was part of a whole initiative thing.
@@wingracer1614 indeed. Thank you for the clarification.
@@Yankee7000 it's one of the big things the democratic party is actually doing that i can get behind no problem. Dude wanted to race. didn't have the dough. he found a way to make it without killin nobody and they wanted to lock him up for life? Honestly Lanier seems like one of the VERY FEW examples of a morally sound drug trafficker, so a life sentence just baffles the mind. This was also when the war on drugs was hitting its peak.
It's in the Netflix episode. He received a presidential pardon because he was a non violent offender.

Jr. should ask Randy if he knew Bruce "PeeWee" Griffin
what a waste of ten minutes of my life...do not need to hear from convicted felons...I thought Earnhardt family had more class than that!!
I think this guy is a liar........
Why?
