You insert the tool right below the top of the shell.
Then you push the tool forward, while at the same time sliding the shrimp upwards towards the handle.
The entire shrimp peel will be left on the Frogmore cleaner.
And the peeled, deveined, and butterflied shrimp will be left in your hand.
A quick rinse, and you're done.

Best Christmas gift I got this year, worth every penny. I love shrimp so much that if there is such a thing as shrimp poisoning, I've probably had it but, I always dreaded peeling and deveining the fresh shrimp. Worked flawlessly on small to medium shrimp, required just a little fidgeting on the jumbos but still 3x faster than it was before. If you want the freshest shrimp possible, this tool is for you!
wow nice to hear it works on smaller shrimp. My initial assumption was it looked better for larger critters.

I absolutely love this kitchen tool! I live on Hilton Head Island and get fresh shrimp regularly, and this has made my life so easy! It is one tool that really does what it claims! I just did a pound of shrimp in 15 minutes for shrimp and grits. Can’t say enough good things about this product.
I bought the this and wasn’t very impressed. I just watched the “how to use” video and I’ve been using it improperly!! Can’t wait to try it the right way 😂😂😂. P.S. I bought the Toadfish spatula too and I LOVE IT!! Best spatula I’ve ever used in my life!!! Design is second to none. I use it for grilling outdoors and in my kitchen.

Does the Toadfish Tool Work on Alaska Spot Shrimp 🍤? Cold Water Shrimp is Bigger and Hardier than Warm Water Gulf/Asian Shrimp.
The Alaskan Spot Shrimp is a little too big for the tool!
