Wouldnt do this hair pulling you are actually removing tissue from the skull which can cause bleeding under the scalp and cause damage and hair loss
Chiropractors do it too. Sometimes I pull my hair when the headache is tooo much and relief is needed from the building pressure.

Hair cracking is actually *really* bad. The "crack" you hear is actually tissue tearing away from the skull, which could cause internal bleeding.
It certainly doesn't look like a good idea
