I used to live down the road from the house, and we played in the fields opposite through many summer holidays. One evening, a few of us hopped over the wall and sneaked around the grounds. There is, or was, a masonic hall behind the old structure and the buildings there were very well maintained. The house itself is as you see it here, but with warrens of caves and passages leading under and away. Many happy memories of staring up at the building, imagining ghosts and scaring ourselves.
