Does he play from off that screen on the right or does he memorize the songs before? Just asking out of interest, not to belittle him, because i don't know much about making or recording music

The screen has the session recording his drums... and there's definitely clues as to where he is in the song and what sections are coming next, etc. But as for what he's playing, that's all planned ahead and coming out of his brilliant drumming brain in real-time, haha.
