I would suggest attaching the cross bar before attaching the pedal bar. The pedal bar is a delicate piece, it could bend due to the side bar moving laterally outwards while you are fixing the crossbar.

DO NOT DO IT THE WAY HE DOES IT. As you're attaching the second leg to the pedal board, the first leg you attached will fall over and bend that flimsy bracket they gave you. Lay the pedal board down on its back and attach the legs with the whole thing lying down on the floor.
Yep. Watching at 4:12 when he was attaching the backboard made me cringe a little, it's not a good idea to assemble this while it's standing upright.

After setting this up, my triple peddle board curves downwards at both ends. I’m assuming it should be flat, did I over tighten?

Just ordered mine, assembled it and when i went to play, the keyboard cover doesn't open. Called Casio and they said it's a known issue. Apparently they are erroneously shipping it without the rail to open the keyboard cover. All I can say is wow. You have an issue and you're still selling and shipping them like that. That is disgusting. First step if you unfortunately buy this, is to make sure the cover opens before you waste time putting it together.
