    These products are on my list. The top gel encapsulated the glitters effortlessly. Thank you for sharing. Using these two gels for six months allowed you to really understand how they work. I'm waiting to see what other reviews you have for us😊

    Do you think that the honey builder gel would work for building a small apex?

    • @pinkpineapplenails
      @pinkpineapplenails  Před 8 měsíci +1

      If you're talking about using either the honey base or top to build a small apex, then I would say yes you can. BUT this series of base and top will have a burning to it if you apply it too thick or try to build it up. If you can tolerate it, then I would give it a go. If your not a big fan of that burning then No I would not do it. Hope this helps give you an idea. 😊😊

    I keep seeing so many videos with this gel. I really want to try it out.
    But also, I have too many base gels and gels for gel extensions already. :(

      I know how you feel. I love testing out base and top coats and have too many of them. But I'm always on the hunt for a good top coat.

    what are your recommended base gels for applying on natural nails that aren't too thick and last about 3 weeks without chipping?

    • @pinkpineapplenails
      @pinkpineapplenails  Před rokem +1

      I like using the Vetro Black Line Base Gel. This gel is thin and I always find that thinner viscosity base seem to work well holding without it chipping so fast. I never had issues with nails lifting when I use the vetro black line base gel. 😊😊

    Hi Hun ♡ ♡ ♡ so how do you feel about using this base gel for x-gel system?, Did you like how it performed in the soak off process and in the longevity of using it?

    • @pinkpineapplenails
      @pinkpineapplenails  Před rokem

      I have used the Winnie the Pooh base in the GelX system and it works just fine because it is thick enough. I feel the soaking process is the same. I think as long as your prep is good any thick base or extension gel works with the GelX system. I have even used Leafgel extension gel and it work just as good. The only thing I would say that if your nails are prone to popping off then stick with their system.

    I bought both recently. Unfortunately, i did burn when using it to attach my full tips but you explained that in the video, so it makes sense now:) That leads to my question - is this base gel good for attaching full tips? Or is it really just a base coat?
    Its so hard to find videos talking about korean products, so im hoping you might be able to provide some insight. Are there certain korean based products that should be used for attaching full tips?

    • @pinkpineapplenails
      @pinkpineapplenails  Před rokem

      In my opinion you can definitely use the base gel to attach full tips. I have done it myself with no issues to it. The base gel is thick enough to be able to hold onto the tip. Make sure that all your prep work for putting on your full tip is done properly and you shouldn't have any issues. I have even use sculpting gels to put full cover tip on without issues. I believe that as long as your prep work is on par you shouldn't have any issues with it lifting unless you like to wear your tips really close to the cuticles. Also make sure that any gels that you use to attach has a good viscosity to it. It should be medium to thick. I wouldn't recommend anything on the thinner side. Let me know if this helps.

    Hello thank you for this video! ❤ I was wondering if the gel separates from the edges of your nails when you don’t cure them right away? That’s I problem I encounter with some of my base coats unfortunately ☹️ Thank you!

    • @pinkpineapplenails
      @pinkpineapplenails  Před rokem

      Are you saying that the gel is pulling away from the edges of your nails before you cure? If that is the case then we might have to look at how you are prepping the nails for the base coats to pull from edges. If your prep work is already on point and is still having this issue then I would recommend trying a rubber base gel to see if that would change it up.

    • @wynthehuman
      @wynthehuman Před rokem

      @@pinkpineapplenails yup that’s exactly it! i make sure to file the entire surface but it’s still happening, i haven’t tried a rubber base so that could be it. I wanted to try this one out but was curious if it didn’t separate from the sides and pool in the middle! Thank you for your response 💖

    No primer/bonder?

    • @pinkpineapplenails
      @pinkpineapplenails  Před rokem

      No primer, Japanese and Korean gels are known for not using prep and primer on their products. If you prep well you shouldn't have any lifting issues. If you have lifting issues I would suggest using a primer on only areas that are lifting. Remember that when using primer the soaking process takes a little bit longer.
