- The street photography POV saga continues headed towards Firenze, one of Italy's most famous historical cities. Join me as I load some Fujifilm C200 in my Rollei35S and get lost in this area, trying to avoid clichés and focussing on my own street photography style. Firenze was just a quick stop before a way longer trip: stay tuned for that! There's something magic about film photography, retrieving the scans from the lab was an amazing feeling! I hope you can get excited about this as well. A few notes below:
Firenze is the biggest and most famous city of Tuscany, which is such an amazing region of central Italy. If you have never heard about Florence you've probably been living under a rock. Tho, did you have time to explore it with the guide of an italian citizen?
What's your favourite photo from this shoot? Would you have used a different film stock? Let me know below in the comment section!

I miss Florence so much. You have chosen some of my favorite spots in town. I use the Rollei 35s, too, and I love your shoots. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you so much for your kind comment! It is such a magical place. Even better through the tiny Rollei 35S 😊
this is really amazing! keep making great film content!
i was in Italy last month and it was an amazing experience. Florence was my favorite place for sure and im working on a video about my experience shooting film there.
Dude thanks for such an encouraging comment! I'm actually working on the film photography recap of a 7 days trip to the Elba Island (check that out, what a place!) and a few adventures in the Dolomites (I live there). I will stay tuned for your video of Florence! Cheers mate
Video fantastico!
Need wayyyyy more subs. Content is very good :) keep it up. Also, this is my favourite street camera.
Thank you so much! I hope that being consistent will help, even though I make those videos as some kind of diary of my film photography adventure. It's always great to see people reacting like you did! The Rollei 35S is such a lovely camera indeed 😍
@@michelefranciotta good luck. I believe you've got what it takes to succeed with your photography, whilst making great content on CZcams.
Thanks again mate 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Grazie!
Grazie a te!
@@michelefranciotta Io era a Firenze lo scorso Maio. Ho avuto il mio Nikon F3 con me. Il mio Rollei 35S arriva oggi e non vedo l'ora di provarlo! Saro in Italia ancora in settembre, a toscana. Sto imparando l'Italiano - spero non ne troppo male! Auguri. A la prossima!
@@markkeohane9850 dovrei fare i video in italiano allora! Parli già bene :) Buon divertimento in Toscana, la Rollei ti farà divertire!
great video, love the lil rollei! What camera is your partner using?
Thanks mate 😊 she's using a Sony A6000 with a 55 1.8 Zeiss lens, which on apsc is like 75 mm
Mi piace il tuo stile, ora hai un nuovo iscritto!❤
Grazie mille, benvenuto a bordo!
is the rubber collapsible lens hood good? I also plan to buy one.
Hey thanks for your comment! It is, it looks pretty old but it still bends firmly. It's mounted on a screw-on UV filter, which I also recommend.
where did you Buy your button for the rollei and the len cover?
Hey Carlos! The lens hood was already there when I bought the camera, is a small uv filter plus lens hood. Looks old, but maybe you can find something on ebay. It just screws on. The red button was a grab on Amazon honestly, I got it in a package of a few accessories. It screws on the shutter button (like cable release would do)
@@michelefranciotta Thank you for the answer Michele!
the video was very nice, but you got to change the music. The drum machines are out and it is hard to hear you over that incessant clicking noise. The pictures are very nice, especially the one from the church. I love Rollei 35 cameras, I have a couple and really enjoy doing street photography with them.
Thank you for your comment and feedback 😊 it's quite an old video, hopefully I didn't make this mistake in the more recent ones 😅
@@michelefranciotta fortunately or unfortunately, content lives forever on the internet. So we got to be mindful of that. I am glad I found your "old" video. Overall, I enjoyed it. I will check out you other videos. Thanks for the content.
@igorvainshtein5731 it's always nice to look back and see how things change 😊 I'm happy to keep all the previous content as a starting point! Thanks for the feedback, it's always very appreciated!
All the images have a lack of density and as such are not the best.
Hey Barry thanks for your comment! What do you mean with density? Are you referring to image quality?
