- Step into the world of Grass Roots flying. Filmed over a week in central Indiana, local pilots discuss the glamor of flying from small grass strips in vintage aircraft.
Shot with Canon EOS Cameras in 4K. All music from Epidemic Sound.
Beautiful video production and aircraft. The aviation community is unmatched.
Excellent video, really well done. Was heartwarming to see it was dedicated to Rich, learned so much from him during my time at Purdue
That was beautiful, guys!
This is right up there with One Six Right! I can't wait to watch this on a big screen TV. I've never landed on a grass strip, but I would love to fly out there for one of those burgers. Thanks so much for your great work.
Neat video I was not expecting to see so many aircraft and people I know. A real pleasure to watch!
This is a great film and it was great to see you've got a Moth. Both my Dad and Grandad solo-ed in Tiger Moths; I solo-ed in a Cessna 152 Aerobat, but I wore the same scarf they both wore on their first solo's. You're real lucky guys to do what you do, keep flying! Best regards from the UK.
I have spent many hours in a J 3...brings back fond memories

Really brings it home if you have experience in private aircraft! Owned a 150 and 172 while I was active. Did Young Eagles, club fly outs to breakfast and cross country to California, Ohio, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and East Tennessee. Miss it a lot at 86. Best photo shoot was Mt Rushmore. Have a friend who owns a Globe Swift and flew a U-2. Feeling blessed.
Great little film! Triggers some good memories - I flew mostly C152 but got a few hours in Cubs and Citabrias years ago. I miss it.
This is an awesome video.
This film deserves way more views. Very well shot
Stunning ! Keep up the awesome work!
The Cub is lovely but the Swift is stunning!
I never knew the top could be popped like that.
my first hours of instruction were in a cub, really enjoyed my time in it.good video
Wow, that was great!
Great video guys!
Beautiful video. Whats the silver tail dragged at the end with the retract? Its gorgeous!
Very nice
Fantastic video. I am building a tail dragger kit plane and will soon be getting my tailwheel endorsement at Red Stewart Airfield in Waynesville Ohio. Where was this video filmed at ? Looks like Wisconsin maybe ?
This was amazing!
Well done !
great film
Beautiful video mate 👍
Nice C195. Must be one of the last ones built, judging by the N-number (only a few digits from mine).
How do we get ahold of you to invite you to film cool airplanes and pilot stories?
Awesome video. What camera did you use exactly?
Canon 90D with mostly a 24-105L!
Cool film! I subbed
