Genetics are a huge part of all things body. But I'm guessing it was from having very good nutrition, and having a steady weight gain. If you put on a lot of weight over a short span, or the baby has a fast growth spurt, the skin can't catch up and is prone to stretch marks. That's my semi-educated guess.
I got inner thigh stretch marks when I was 15 or so. I didn't gain any huge or significant weight, just regular turning into a woman stuff. My Genetics did that.
