A beautiful model of a flying boat, in my opinion the most beautiful aircraft W W II.
Cool build. Nice to see a Cat in a different livery colors. Happy modeling.

Thanks!
Hello Jamie, this is lost sky, looks amazing! I did something similar at the start of lockdown - Bristol 175 (I think) Britannia. I like the bomber jacket BTW, I have the same one, but with an american flag badge instead, as my uncle used to work in the US navy. liked and subbed😀
Thx so much, rlly appreciate it!
Good work what isn't the easiest of the Aifix classic kits. Well done.
ChancerNW thank you!
I'm doing a revell 1995 kit and it's so hard to do
@@octo1235 Yeah right now I am building a Sword 1:72 Harrier and it doesn't have anything to attach the fuselage & the wings in the right place so that made it very hard to do the main assembly
Please can you explain more how you get your dry brushing technique? are you drying up the mixture and then apply with a brush? How fo you clean up if you put too many? Also, it looks like tou have not painted a lain white. Do you apply shades of different whites, darker, lighter? etc... Thanks for your response
Hey, so it has been a long time since I made this model and I actually gave it away in this time, however, when I was painting it I honestly didn't use any primer or preshading as I was relatively new to using an airbrush. As far as I can remember I used basic (slightly thinned) tamiya xf-2 flat white on the bare plastic (as far as I can see, quite unevenly), and then humbrol gloss varnish on top. When I was weathering, I simply brushed on either tamiya flat black and gun metal, removing most of the paint off on a paper towel and brushing over areas multiple times until I got the desired look. Afterwards I used colour pastels (brown and very dark grey), making a powder out of the pigment by scraping off some with a blade. I applied that with a very similar technique, only to highlight oil streaks and more worn details. I'll be honest that nowadays I would use a very different way to paint and then weather my model aircraft, but that's a fairly simple, beginners' way to do it. Thanks for the question!
Очень недурственно получилось...😊🎉
