The match in Shanghai, which was shown here, was already difficult for Federer. But Medvedev in the end mentally could not stand the possible victory over Federer himself. He had a chance to break Federer at 4-3 in the 3rd set, but he couldn't, and then immediately lost his serve with his own mistakes.
