Good idea my friend. V2 is in the design soon :) Thank you

Make the boxes interlock and you could use them to contain the grass and food scraps as a compost heap.

Cool, man! But you should consider that the apparent temperature increases as the humidity increases, so for example if you take down the temperature by one degree you'll increase a lot the humidity and it's worse than before. So to make this system work you should make a very large filter so the sufficiently lower temperature compensates the higher humidity. Keep experimenting!

    It's evaporative cooling.
Major disadvantage is you are introducing humidity into the air.
Higher humidity equals higher perceived temperature.
A/c units work by removing the humidity.

You might consider using a synthetic material, rather than grass for the membrane. The wet grass might foster fungal growth, and spew spores into your living space. Legionnaires' disease from using swamp coolers is a known hazard that has resulted in deaths. Getting only 1 or 2 degree change in the temperature may not be worth the risk of lung disease.

Thank you for the information. Instead of grass, I can use thin membrane prints that will keep water flowing slowly through the plates. nowadays printers can print very thin lines easily. Thank you for the update. yes the idea was to change the grass regularly every 2 days or so. this is a big learning curve and i appreciate the feedback.

@@alishanmao I've followed your RC adventures for several years, and appreciate your innovations. If you don't use the excess grass in your coolers, you will, still, have excess grass... perhaps, you can get a goat.😎

@@alishanmao With children and wife ?

    • @alishanmao

@@onclefly8450 yes of course. i can't leave my children and wife behind. Their Government (CCP) forced us to leave. they refused to give us visa and told me in my face that we are not welcome anymore. and that its time i leave their country and if I want i can take my family too. I was tired of begging for what is rightfully mine. The residence visa as i am married to chinese citizen and my kids are chinese. being spouse of 3 chinese, its my basic right to get green card or longer residence permit, but still they just refuse to give what is rightfully mine. they violate all the basic human rights in your face and you can't do anything about it. I could not take this anymore. So i had a window to take my family out of that surveillance state and I took it. and I am happy that i did.
I know now we are struggling financially and these are the toughest times in terms of money and finances in my whole life i have ever seen but I will not give up. i am working day and night to setup my 3d printing business and i am confident I will start getting orders. CZcams can't support our family expenses here, and youtube reviews are just too much work and no income. so i have to struggle and focus to setup my 3d printing business. Apart from that, yes my kids are happy. we rented an old house, its big, and huge yard as you have seen in my vidoes. i can fly helicopters here, no need to drive far. also we live close to majestic mountains and a clear water beach is just 5 minutes from our home, we go there often to relax and swim in the sea. in winter we go off roading in deserts and explore new places whenever we can afford to fill the tank of our gas guzzler 2007 Land Cruiser. weekends same way, we go fly electric paramotor by beach side. and Thanks GOD there are opportunities i see and i am running after them to get orders and business for us. i believe these tough times will not last forever. we will see a better life once again. Do remember us in your prayers. and Thank you for your continued support always.

Why not just buy an AC? This is way too much hassle. It would need constant replacing because of mold. Not to mention some orher disadvantages. But kudo’s to you sur for thinking outside of the box.
