I would get a caravan service engineer to check out the caravan before you buy Cost around £100-£150 as there is a lot more to check than damp We ended up spending £3000 to get our caravan up and running And we bought of a dealer we thought we could trust and because we had it over 6mths before we discovered work needed gas ,electric , bathroom floor replacing external rails toilet we couldn't do anything Caravan is perfect now but we learnt a good lesson so spending that little bit extra and getting a caravan service engineer to check the gas electric damp Could save you thousands Hope this helps
Always have a annual service, can't be to careful , I have my own damp meter and go round every couple months . Tell the service engineer check for damp as some do not bother or they charge extra. Keep safe you know it's a jungle out there.
You mentioned under windows,have put a plastic sheet over with strong tape,about 2 months ago ,drying out slowly, will put new seals on in summer and sickens seal,thank you

Your caravan is almost the same as ours, apart from we have single beds.
some of us have more trouble with damp than others ...

You should never use this kind of damp monitor, the holes it leaves allow moisture in your van ! Use a ultrasound. Better for your van.
