- The burning bush in Exodus 3 wasn’t the first time God revealed His glory in the appearance of brilliant flames, nor would it be the last. In this message, R.C. Sproul visits several passages in Scripture to discuss what this radiant glory ultimately reveals about Jesus Christ.

Missing pastor R.C
Oh my goodness this is such a sound and beautiful words of God
Are you kidding? Calvinism is demonic.
My wife, our two children, and I flew down to Atlanta last week, to attend our first ever G3 conference. Even though he is now with the Lord, Pastor RC’s name came up often 🙂.

It's mind-blowing to realize that at this point God was promising Abraham that if He broke His own word too him that He would pit the most powerful force in the universe against the most immovable and invulnerable being in reality!✝️

God who established the natural laws of nature is not restricted by them but can work with them or against them (miracles) as he pleases (Matthew 8:27).

When people are invited to have an audience with the king or Queen, or a president they dress in their best suit or dress. Why then do people when they come before Almighty God in church, they dress in everyday clothes ie T shirts, jeans, trainer’s and so on. It’s also states in the scriptures that a woman is to cover her head ie wear a hat. But obviously in todays churches people don’t care.
So true, some even in shorts and flipflops. There have been opinions that dresses are too expensive. In reality there are brand new dresses within $20, even $10, if people shop in certain stores. Or one can buy a few dress shirts/blouses with skirts/trousers during CLEARANCE season over a period of time within above price range and mixed and matched them, right? The respectful kind they wear to a funeral or a wedding. Or just buy one of each and wear the same one every Sunday.
If that is also too much, well, there are freely donated clothings, shoes, handbags, belts, etc. provided by many churches seasonably. Three 2 feet tall bags of good clothings were just donated by simply one out of at least 100 members of a small church.
It will be also great if the songs being sung in many of the churches be those less of pop style and more of worship of the previous era. It is true there are quite a few contemporary ones that are wonderful, it is just the way delivered looks more like a pop concert. Some even dancing in uniformed jet black clothing complete with smoke machine like a rock concert. It is written that believers are to be in the world and NOT of it ( Romans 12:2 ) Being in church is NOT to please human but to please and worship God, right? Can it be that because many of the churches and the world are no difference so attendence is diminishing?
A pastor who was serving a sentence was asked by another as whether he fell out of love with the Lord when making the mistakes. He said no, he loved the Lord through all the mistakes. He was just not FEARING God enough. Quite a sobering thought, isn't it? May the Lord be always both revered and loved by all His believers for their own sake.
In the book Genesis 6 Conspiracy by Gary Wayne finally the answer was discovered as to why women covered their heads. It is not out of respect or modesty. Rather, the beauty of female's hair is one of the reasons the fallen angels forcibly took them to wife. So perhaps covering the head is to dim the beauty for protection.
Gary Wayne did research studies for over 30 years to discover for himself the peculiar references regarding the giants in the books of Genesis, Exodus, and Numbers. The materials he discovered are stunning and biblically aligned.
Note: By observation one can see that in certain beliefs females have to worship behind males so as not to be enticing with the shape of their body, even after being covered from head to toe.
Respectful clothing, not fancy or formal. If they have money to buy shorts costing $9.99 and flipflops for $7.99, they can use the same amount to get a pair of trousers or a dress blouse/shirt. Brand new summer dress even sold for $7.99. And wear just that 1 set of clothing every Sunday.
In addition, most churches regularly collect donated clothing, handbags, shoes, etc. seasonably and give them for FREE. Members of congregation are always meant to live biblically and that is to help the poor, orphans and widows. The Lord always provides. Faith always shows up as actions. James 2:17. The Lord always helps to turn every problem into a blessing.
And generally the ones wearing shorts, T-shirts, flipflops, skin tight tops are not poor. They just like to dress that way. Seriously, everyone has the right to do and justify whatever they want, everyone reaps what is sown.
God's peace be with you.
You clearly miss the point of Paul saying women should be covering their head.
It’s not some arbitrary rule to be followed for everyone.
It suited a specific situation where women were dressing to get the attention of men instead dressing appropriately for worship.
Had nothing to do with actually just covering their hair.
John MacArthur explains this well. Go find the sermon on it.
Who are you trying to impress? Do you think that God will be more impressed with the condition of your clothes or with the condition of your heart?
