Blue toad was in the switch version, but he was made as a alt of yellow toad in NSMBUD, also you can see a goomba, with a toad hat in the promo art
BTW blue toad dose show up in the port of New super Mario U deluxe but sadly you have to use a button combination to play as him. Also what give me hope is that in the Mario wonder box art (at the end of the trailer) you can see a goomba with the top of blue toad on him so maybe it’s a playable character. I assume it’s just blue toad but either kamek or the wonder flower transformed him.
It'd be cool if we got more playable characters. Wario and Waluigi instantly come to mind, but someone like Pauline or Rosalina would be cool too.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder seems like it's taking inspiration from Yoshi's Island and Donkey Kong Country, and I'm all for it. The game looks wonderful. ;)
And possibly the Kirby series too, especially if Bowser is possessed or brainwashed.
Great analysis and predictions, I can't wait to see more of and then finally play Wonder, it looks so good!
I'd like to add only that the Star Coins of this game are those 10 "coins" that also count add 10 to the new currency and I really _wonder_ what its purpose will be.
By the way, didn't expect you to talk about Rome Avanti and Wave 5 in this video, it was a nice bonus and interesting thoughts about them as always!
Here's something you might find interesting: there's a leaker named "Zippo" who actually alluded to this game in August of 2022. They didn't completely know what it was, the only things they were told of was the following:
-A new 2D Mario developed by Nintendo EPD
-It will be it's own thing. The "New Super" moniker is being thankfully retired.
-It will feature a new art style that will take some people by surprise.
-It's "very far" along in development. Might be completed soon.
-Online multiplayer will be included.
-Will feature the return of Foreman Spike.
-Will release during the 2023/2024 fiscal year.
Well, at least 4 out of those things are right, might be worth keeping this stuff in mind when more information comes out about it.

I wonder if alongside a challenge mode, the devs will also include a Vs. mode. I have a few ideas as to what that could be:
There will be four match length options: 1 round, 3 rounds, 5 rounds, and unlimited.
1. Race to the Finish
This mode is the simplest to understand. Players race each other throughout a course to reach the goal. The player who reaches the goal first wins. This is inspired from the multiplayer Vs. mode in Super Mario Maker 2. Scoring will work kind of like Mario Kart in that you’ll receive points based on your placing: 1st place gets 5 points, 2nd gets 3, 3rd gets 2, and 4th gets 1.
2. Coin Battle
This will work in the same sort of way as in New Super Mario Bros. Wii and U. In this mode, players traverse through courses while nabbing as many coins as they can. When the players reach the end, their coins will be tallied based on coins collected, extra collectibles collected, and another bonus based on flagpole scoring. The player with the most coins in the final tally wins.
3. Star Thief
This is based on the Mario Vs. Luigi mode from New Super Mario Bros. In this mode, players scramble to get as many stars as they can in micro courses. The player with the most stars wins.
4. Free-for-All
This mode is like the coin battle mode, but instead of fighting for coins, you fight for score. This is made to give score a bit of a purpose in the modern age of gaming.
5. Mixed Match
This mode has players do the previous modes of competitive multiplayer at random. The name in itself is a nod to the same mode that is featured in Tetris and Dr. Mario.
If something like this were implemented, it could appeal to the more competitive players. Too bad it doesn't seem like this game will support online multiplayer though.
Also as Ceave Gaming pointed out this game has a surprising amount of similarities with the novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, so that could point at what world we're actually playing in.
Even if this Mario game is different some things in Mario games are universal. The 2nd is a desert and the 7th is a sky. They never change that

I want the villains to either be original villains that are themed around each world or wild versions of the Koopalings I really don’t want just big versions of regular enemy’s also the characters each getting different animals doesn’t seem like it could happen I feel there will be even more power ups that are new also I can easily see Luigi and the others as elephants except for Yoshi also I think the elephant power will be strong but you can’t jump and also you’ll be able to use the fountains to gain water in your trunk and shoot out to enemies
Me too..well most of the Koopalings part. I always love the Koopalings with a deep passion but I hate how uncreative there boss fight are. Some of them are great, good or need tweaking or just terrible. I always wondered to myself how cool amazing characters can have lame boss fights and I hoping the devs of this game will give them of chance to shine with new creative ideas with the new wonder effects.

@AlbertBoris Any plans for an updated Wave 5 & 6 track predictions video and an updated Character Predictions video now that Kamek, Wiggler, and Petey Pirahna will be coming to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?
In addition to the fact that Kamek's appearance in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has opened the door to Mario Kart Tour characters like Pauline getting a chance to be added into MK8DX, I have at least one other theory that you could include, if you want.
The Pipe Frame Theory
It's something I can up with after Birdo came to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, mainly revolving around the Pipe Frames between the DLC characters (upcoming or arrived) and the Koopalings.
You see, Birdo has a Hot Pink pipe frame like Wendy O. Koopa, but all the other colors for Birdo's pipe frame (such as engine parts, exhaust pipe, etc.) are colored the same way as other normal pipe frames (fully gray engines with yellow / gold exhaust pipe).
So for example, if there were a Magenta Pipe Frame like Roys, but all the other colors for it are colored normally, it would most likely be the Pipe Frame for Pauline.
Of course, I could be wrong, but it's something to consider.
im pretty sure blue toad is in it too cuz his mushroom hat is in the artwork and he actually was playable in new smb u. if u held down the left bumper of ur controls while over yellow toad, u could choose blue toad instead!
The uniqueness of the level themes was exciting enough for me, but the idea of the wonder seeds is super exciting as they’ll offer mix up to how a level plaus
I need to try Wonder if it keeps impressing me since I never really got into the New Super Mario Bros Games. Rome Avanti as well looks really neat even though I’m bummed it’s not Rio. Hoping to see it in Wave 5 but I feel like it could be a Wave 6 track though maybe it’s more simple than I imagined and it’ll be in Wave 5.

Rome Avanti is an absolute win if you ask me, but I'm biased because well, I'm Italian.
SMB Wonder looks amazing, but people really gotta stop saying that it's "the first original Mario Bros in 20 years" because that's just not true. 1st off, NSMB DS was extremely original, new powerups, new bosses and all the cool stuff was in it. Then we have NSMBW. Are we really gonna say it wasn't original? Really? The Koopalings weren't in DS and while they were in previous games they were much worse as bosses than in all of the New Super series. I can see a case being nade for the other 3 games, but the level design in them was very distinct from all the other entries. People are throwing unnecessary and untrue slander to the New Super series just because it had the same artstyle across all the entries, as if no other series has ever done that.
This is off topic but when do you think the next Mario kart dlc will be? I’m hoping we get a trailer this week and it comes out next week, that might be a little too soon tho.
I'm wondering if and what battle modes it'll have, can you imagine an online battle mode? There could be so many different challenges like tag, coin battle, races, last man standing, team battles.
going to make a wind guess or theory i think bowser as well bowser jr are possessed by something possibly giving us a new final boss for this game or at least a possessed powered up bowser i most likely wrong but something just seems off about bowsers flying castle and bowser jr weird dark form got a feeling we be getting a new villain like yeah probably wrong but if i am right that would be great

My thoughts:
First and foremost I NEED to see the rest of the powerups(I hope there’s a decent amount).
I want there to be a decent amount of levels and worlds maybe 10 worlds in total or more.

I feel like the Koopalings would be involved in some way as their basically Bowser's generals of his army. Having bosses just be giant enemies is lazy and wasted potential imo. Also having I don't think their would be exclusive power ups either as beside Yoshi, they all will behave the same way(Which means yes well most likely see elephant Peach).

Not a big fan of modern mainline Mario games (mostly because of the "price per content" aspect) but I can't argue against the beauty of Wonder artstyle. It's just amazing. Maybe I even buy it someday...

At this point, I actually think it could happen. If Daisy is PLAYABLE in a MAINLINE game, they could get in as either a boss or playable characters.

what id like to see is the bosses have a health bar instead of the traditional 3 hit lifespans
The bosses be done quicker than a whole car going vroom vroom fast.
We gotta leave that 3-hit formula for the bosses, it's way too absurd to think that the king thwomp whos like 5x the size of Lebron James is defeated so easily because of back pain.

um its pretty obvious blue toad is going to be in the game his hat is literally on the cover. Like why would they let you play different coloured yoshis but then exclude blue toad... they wouldn't it's so obvious he's in the game. Plus he wasn't excluded in deluxe u just had to press a button and it will change yellow into blue.

There were some temporary issues during the previous video, and since that forced me to use the old voice for it, and for consistency's sake, I've decided it's best it will continue for this video. Since I've been battling a cold the past month though, the explanation can be that it's infected my twin brother now, which had an effect on his voice for now lol!

I feel like there will be at least two more playable characters, with four-player multiplayer it feels weird to just have six characters and especially announcing them all at the same time. I predict that there will be two or four more characters to round it out to eight or ten, Wario and Rosalina are the ones that I feel the most confident about as they were playable in past Mario games with already-established gimmicks. But DK, Toadette, Waluigi, or even Jr. could be interesting additions as well.
Yeah, I expect Toadette at least. However we could see a few surprises.

it looks really fun. Like a genuinely good time. Unlike the new series of super mario, that always looked kinda bland. Like you know, an ok time, probably with friends, can form some good memories, but as an experience is it really worth going out of my way to go and play? Not really. Mario Wonder is looking like a must play.
