This is the second part of the Bangalore to Kolkata drive in my xuv700. The We covered the entire stretch of approx 900kms in under 12 hours time. The roads were empty and we could maintain very healthy pace. There are diversions in Odisha as the road works are in progress and also as soon as you enter west bengal, there are roadworks in progress which may slow you down. Travelling all the way from Bangalore to Kolkata is a regular affair for us but this time travelling pet has been a sweet surprise for all of us. I am leaving below the details for the pet friendly hotel which hosted us in Vizag and hope this information will help you a lot.
Coming to the car, you throw anything at it and it will take it with ease. No complains. However I did notice a drop in the mileage as compared with my earlier trip on the same stretch. This has happened after the silver box update. I need to know what exactly they did as a part of that update. Well! I leave that topic for any upcoming vlog. For now, i reached home safe and sound in this scorching heat and that is very satisfying!

Entire West Bengal state is full of shits where bikers and cows dogs cross every now and then in highway as well. It's everywhere over country dude.
Took me back to the memory lane.. I did Srikakulam to Kolkata in December last year Christmas. Rodas are indeed amazing until Bhadrak. In 11 hrs I reached Uluberia byt but got stuck in evening traffic of Satragachi which took away all the juice.. and finally journey ended in 14hrs...

We stayed in Winsar Park around Christmas. Did a round trip from Hyderabad. Owner and his son were very active and had a great experience.

Yeah. I realised later after booking. But travelling with pets have very less options. This one was pretty good actually.
Nice you have captured the journey. We have travelled 1few times from Hyd to Kolkata ..just observed one thing when you are driving your son at the front seat didn't wear seat belt..pls make sure not to do that for a single min..
Thanks a lot for commenting. And thanks for the appreciation. My son always wears the seat belt, but due to height it sometimes pains around the neck area. So he just takes it over the body. The waist part is always fastened. That may not be visible in the clip, but I don't allow to take off seatbelt at any time..

Thank you penning your thoughts.
I used the inbuilt maps throughout this journey. On straight stretches there is no difference. But, within city , sometimes you may want to use Google maps. But again, this is my observation. For most of the time, the inbuilt maps will do, provided they are updated.
Yours is Luxury right? Then you should have 360 degree camera. Then why you have installed separate camera to ur mirror and what's the use?

There is none. But the fact is I have tested this on city and highways only .. i will be taking it up to hills and OFF-ROADS. Will be able to comment more on that in some days. 100kmph. Andhra has 120 in some stretches.
