Well! It is a must for Gurudongmar else purely skills but one would be still limited without RWD or AWD/4X4. For Nathula, if there is snow on top, army won't allow unless you have SUV with 4x4 or AWD. So this way it is needed for that sector..

Hey! No such things like car needs rest. But yes what needs to be checked is tyre pressure and tyre temperature. Not sure if your vehicle has tpms inbuilt or not, if not, I would recommend getting an after market unit fitted. Can be a life saver. Other than this enjoy your drive!!
