I love Soviet music, but this one is so great that even if it is for celebration of victory, you can actually hear that music is a bit sad like it is saying in the background "we have won, but what cost did Mother Russia pay for that victory?"

@balance TV 227 was almost only for generals the brave infantry were hardly effected the only difference was that commanaders were not letting men flee
@@hellomynamesnino8932 don't know some shit about generals but usually generals are more faithful than soldiers, plus a big majority of USSR army wasn't russian and they didn't have any shit mutual with soviets(kazakh,tajiks,turkmen,uzbek,ukraine,belarus,azerbaijan) so thats it. I think its more possible for soldiers to flee from combat.
Balance TV that order was almost entirely for penalty battalions (like the battalion that Vasily Zaytsev was in, in the movie Enemy at The Gates)
Edit: Some if the best soldiers were Kazakhs, Ukrainians, Albanians, and Georgians. One of my relatives who fought in the war was Ukrainian and he was in the Soviet Naval Infantry, which were elite soldiers (like the US marines)
Thanks to the Soviet Union there was World War II :)

Imagine seeing your friends all die off , beeing pushed till the city of kursk and stalingrad and then holding for a year. all your mates gone long , you try to stay alive the whole time and you advance back some day seeing a chance to come alive out of this war. you go further and further until you reach poland and see the horryfing reality of what happened there and what the germans did to the poles. then you push to germany with the poles and after ALL THIS seeing your friends die , starving , your officer dying from the sheer cold . Your push in with every strength you have. you did it. After everything. You swing the soviet flag and start to celebrate with all the survivors. You miss your friends but you did it.
