- A lovely young woman is doomed by an ancient curse - she is to become undead and marry the devil. Her father knows of the curse, and enlists the help of his friend Samson, a professional wrestler.

According to the episode guide, Frank had wanted to do an El Santo or Luchador movies since the beginning, but no one else wanted. They decided to give him one for his final episode.
Latin Actors, Dubbed English, AND the story telling prowess of a 50's Japanese sci-fi flick. honestly how could it get any better.
Sandy Frank could produce and Roger Corman could direct
and T.V. 's Frank could stay!

Crow's cackle when Samson walks in gets me every time. Sometimes, nothing the guys can say is funnier than their uncontrolled giggling.
Also, I bet Trace had a lot of fun recording that song.
One of my all time favourite moments is that cackle!
Given how goofy that Samson/El Santo looks as he walks in with his gear on, ya can't blame Crow for that awesome cackle! XD

A fond farewell to TV's Frank, who has left this realm, with Torgo no less. I can't think of a better sendoff than with a cheesy quesadilla of a luchador/monster movie.
Frank Coniff loves luchador movies, so they riffed this movie for him in tribute.
Yeah, after 'Robot vs the Aztec Mummy' they pretty much vowed to never do another luchador movie, but went ahead with this one as a concession to Frank
frank should have gotten an emmy every year he was on the show.
Too bad he's such a complete low life as a person.

I didn't realize he was also involved in "Sabrina the Teenage Witch". He was a writer for the "Invader Zim" cartoon series, even having a small speaking role in one episode.
Sort of. Remember he DID make a cameo appearance along-side Joel in "Soultaker" ^_^ And these cameos were longer than just a walk-on or a moment. They had lines and time to interact with the other characters. If that counts for anything.
When they have the owl say "que - que" I lost it . . . The black/white dubbed movies always have the best riffs - case in point "Prince of Space" . . . And LONG LIVE TORGO !!!!

When Samson came in the room and they all laughed, so did I.
This was yet another movie where the "heroes" did very little while random accidents polish off the bad guys. The moral is that in the battle of good vs evil, it's random chance that always wins

I first saw this movie in Spanish with my family. We were already making fun of it. My father told me that this movie used to scare him as a boy so much so he couldn't sleep at night.
When I found that MST3K made fun of this movie I had to see it. It's definitely one of my favorites. Unfortunately, I find that information becomes lost in translation, but it would be difficult to translate everything exactly since some statements would be confusing or lengthy.
When El Santo first appears, I always lose it.

My gosh, that ending scene actually gets to me a little. As twisted as it is that Dr. Forrester likes to torment Frank, the fact that they both see it as something special makes their whole relationship weirdly sweet and sincere. :')

So proud t osay that Mexican films were good enough to be shown around the world in different languages back in 40's, 50's and 60's, the Golden Age of Mexican cinema.
Yeah, just like your shitty American hiphop crap. You know, instead of making such broad remark why don't you go do more research about foreign film industries compared to Hollywood? This movie may seem "shitty" to you but if you're smart enough you might remember that back then Hollywood hadn't changed to their little green screen technology and computer graphics yet so this movie was good enough for Germans, French and Japanese and yes, even AMERICANS.
historiadorderock ...this is not a good movie, the acting is terrible, ( albeit the dubbing makes it even worse) and the story line is completely ridiculous....it’s laughable even without Mike and the bots. Now that’s not to say that Mexico and other countries have not made many great movies, they always have and certainly still do, but this is not one of them! Its atrocious!

This is one of my favorite MST3K episodes! From beginning to end the riffing is nearly non-stop...and hilarious! And it gets better every time I watch it! This movie seemed like it was made for MST3K. Vampire women, a Mexican wrestler in full regalia and a zany plot. ☺️😀😛😜
I've always wondered why The Simpsons never spoofed this for one of their Halloween specials. I mean, come on, Simpson (the Aluminum Pie-Tin Maskman) vs. The Vampire Women of Springfield (led by Booberella)? Practically writes itself.

When this episode first ran, I was watching it with an actor friend of mine. He was playing Brick in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. When the vampire was drinking from the cup and said,"I'm waiting for the click, Maggie." The guy fell off my sofa laughing.
I love how the guys just totally lose it when Samson shows up. We've had a somewhat up-front vampire story and suddenly this costumed wrestler pops in with a mask and tights all the time, turns it completely insane.
The daughter and her boyfriend are human ciphers. Who cares what happens to either of them? Tandra is the character of real interest.

TV's Frank goes off with Torgo. Who'd of thunk that? This episode has two of my favorite MST3K moments. When the vampires attack the couple like "cheap thugs" and when Samson first appears. No matter how many times I see them I lose it!

These mixtures of Mexi-horror and Santo are delightful, they have so much heart! Mexico made some lovely horror films during this period. It's nice when the SoL team get to engage with with non cynical movies 😊
