Magnolia Pomenade is literally the most frustrating world, I thought that the hospital and the police station would be there but nope. It would have been such a great map for hospitals, police stations, stores and supermarkets to get groceries! Get To Work needs an update imo.
Agreed!
we should've gotten more lots in it, even 3 or 2 more would be better
genuinely it makes me regret buying get to work. the only good thing abt that pack was aliens imo - maybe it's just my gameplay style but i also don't find that i ever use the retail lot
@@melizabeth555 I use it too make a little gardening store! A live-in store!
Well I liked it only beacuse u could put cool stuff from gallery there and build your own vibe but I have to admit it was kind of depressing to see an empty world at first
Vampires should have had a graveyard, which could have been added as a base game lot type
Hell it could’ve even been added with the LITERAL haunting pack
@@antoinettetheresa6430 I think part of the issue is that there’s so few lots in each town, adding a graveyard would consume another. In some towns like Sulani there’s only 14 lots with only 2 empty, one of them is off the grid and the other isn’t, adding a graveyard there would lock off one of the lifestyle options. And in some of the smaller towns like Magnolia Promenade or Moonlight Falls (that might be the Sims 3 creepy haunted town, I get them mixed up all the time) there’s only 4 lots which it’s just crazy! I have no idea how the developers thought that was okay.
knowing EA, they are probably gonna put it in a kit or game pack
Omg, you're right!!🤦🏿♀️🤦🏿♀️ I was so disappointed with forgotten hollow
why would they add a graveyard in a world of vampires when vampires are immortal😂
the conclusion is "the world looks nice but there's not much to do" for every world. 😂 painfully true
Word. I can't get over the fact how entertaining going on vacation was in Sims 2 and Sims 3. My sims literally didn't have enough time to explore and try everything, there was so much gameplay! Sims 4 looks pretty, even stunning, but it is incredibly shallow compared to the previous ones.
Whats the best world to do things?
@@oneshotonehit6731 I remember visiting Twikki Island and Three Lakes in the Sims 2, I couldn't even visit quarter of the lots before my vacation ended. It shows how expansive Sims 2 is during its time.
Or the saying applicable to all of Sims 4: "It's pretty but horribly shallow"
I can't stress this enough: Henford-on-Bagley would've literally been the *perfect* world to introduce Elves into Sims!
Or fairies 🥺
Why do we need that many museums? For my kleptomaniac sims. That's why.
Exactly
My favorite world is Sulani. I live in a tropical country and I like to make sim versions of my own family. Plus, that place is is ridiculously beautiful.
It's a pretty world but for me I rarely move sims there or at least play as them because each lot is so secluded. You basically have no neighbors/ rare interactions
I turn Sulani into a vacation world
@@staciii meanwhile for me anywhere I move (any world) there's so many sulani sims why do they follow me everywhere 😭
I'm British but I can somewhat understand. I was really happy with Henford-on-Bagely because there's finally something I can relate with more. Even Windenburg made me happy just for the European representation. What would be nice now is an Africa themed pack (though not just one place, Africa isn't just one country). Maybe somewhere based off Kenya and it could look traditional and the pack could also be a Safari one. Imagine sims going on a Safari and looking at a giraffe. Kenya is actually a beautiful country I would like to visit one day. Doesn't have to be somewhere like that though, there are also many other interesting places like South Africa, Ethiopia, Senegal, and Egypt.
It’s beautiful
I would've liked the world more if Forgotten Hollow was split into two different neighbourhoods. One would be with the existent lots, while the other neighbourhood would be more "normal" (i.e. not dead trees and a constant fog). The only time I see myself using Forgotten Hollow is when I'm playing with vampires. Otherwise, it's pretty much useless.
I don't like the fog but I like the gloomy creepy feel, I would've liked a normal part and then a small part where Vlad and the vampires live, maybe even some townies that live in the normal part of town and are superstitious (kinda like the stranger ville "conspiracy" sims)
I use Forgotteng Hollow for my criminal sims
I made some forgotten relatives of the Goths live in Forgotten Hollow and have some shady relations with the vampires. Lol. Besides the vampires, it is also good for victorian gameplay.
I think it would be REALLY interesting if the sims 4 had a world that felt like Mongolia, Tibet, or China. And had a martial arts skill like kungfu, a chinese caligraphy skill and had a new dance skill that isnt club dancing, like fan dancer, proper ballet, and maybe some new careers that capitalize on those skills as well as refresh some basegame ones, like Chinese Opera Singer as a singing career, Kungfu could literally be a martial arts and fitness skill based career. I think that would be crazy cool. They could take what they learned from feed back and add the crammed apartments and the nicer old fancy houses. They already brought apartments into evergreen harbor its silly they havent added them into more worlds yet. Especially since I see it as a good compromise between not having an open worlld or space for proper lots. Just stacking lots would be amazing!
God, how wonderful would it be if sims 4 made Belladonna Cove from Sims 2 into a world in their game. That place had like 40-50 lots(I forgot its been a long time since I played ts2). It would be insanely fun to play in.
I`m so with you...
I agree! I'm playing on Belladonna Cove rn - so many apartments and lots!
I feel like graphically speaking, I LOVE the sims 4, but just looking at worlds and gameplay, the sims 3 was really amazing. Like I remember not having ANY expansion packs (or maybe only like 2) with the sims 3, yet STILL feeling like I was getting a great gameplay. The sims 4 needs all of them.
Hopefully the sims 5 can be a combination of sorts.
I just bought sims 3 and was stunned. Sims 4’s functional game play is just not worth it.
So true in the sims 3 my sims would sometimes go out and eat, but here we need dine out 😑 I also miss small stuff like school busses, cars, and how our sims could go to the grocery/book stores.
@@cloudiefish9871 I’m thinking about trying the sims 3 again because gameplay was just so much more fun & satisfying. I can’t play the sims 4 for more than an hour or 2 without getting kinda burnt out
YES please rank the sims 3 worlds they are so much more interesting & varied lol
frr
yess
Yes!!
the sims 3 and past, that shit, not even close to the sims 4
Oh my god if they added fairies in cottage living they couldve given them a special power where they can make crops grow faster or give them a higher chance of being oversized. Thats what fairies in stardew valley do and i feel like it goes hand in hand with them being the foresty creatures
I definitely agree with you about Selvadorada, like, c'mon EA, it's literally the only south american inspired world that we have and yet we can't even bloody live on it? i genuinely hope they either gives us the option to permanently live on it, or gives us more south american worlds, because the sims 4 really lacks representation, for example, i don't think there's even an African inspired world, it's mostly american and sometimes european with a sprinkle of south american and asian.
Right! I personally think we need a middle eastern/south Asian type world because the sims is giving us so many Indian outfits and Indian foods but there’s no world for all of it 🙁
There is a trick that allow you to live in Selvadorada. If you make one lot a haunted house, you can buy and it as your home lot. Granted, no-one would like to live in a haunted hose, so I usually build a small room with a bed, desk and a shower at the Arbol de Jaguar, and treat the taxes for the haunted property as rent for the room. It's only suited for single sim play though.
@@shallowvalkyrie9687 i’ve been using oasis springs as my middle-east and it’s not cutting it but it’s something
there’s no excuuuuseeee
I agree I would love to see an African inspired world just imagine the new hairstyles that would be added to that pack
I haven't even seen much traditional African clothing or names in the Sims series. They could at least add that to the game but also not just act like Africa is one country (or sometimes people pick a country but that's it, like thinking Africans are all like Nigerians lol).
I think Tartosa represents Europe too! Mediterranean Europe to be precise… it’s one of my favorite world as a Mediterranean person I love it
Yessss exactly!! It looks like italy and the south of France (like Cassis!!)
Yep, it’s Italian-inspired.
i actually like that world too, it's in the 8th place from the best worlds😁😁😁
@@Jericho101 Also Croatian inspired (which figures, since they are neighbouring haha). The waterfall area very much reminds me of the Krka national park :)
@@Fragmented_Mask that’s nice to know that they’re adding real life places!
I've still never taken my sims to Sixam. Del Sol Valley should have had a beach and oceanfront apartments (rich and poor). I LOVE Strangerville, I think it's underrated. The lighting is beautiful.
That huge park lot that can't be edited in Magnolia Promenade is such a waste too. That world should have had about twenty lots for Get To Work and Retail.
A graveyard with a gothic themed building/church type in the middle of Forgotten Hollow would’ve been perfect
Hi Satch! The way I have combatted the lag issue in my game is whenever it starts to lag, if you just open and close the notifications menu it should stop. If it doesn't, open it again and delete all the notifications and then close it! Weird work around that works for me so I recommend giving it ago! I only play with clothing CC, MCCC, UI cheats and wonderful whims on a gaming desktop PC and it still lags!
Opening and closing the gallery also helps me!
or just the settings menu would do the trick as well.
@@MarishkaVladimirescu I've tried the settings menu and it doesn't work for me for some reason! I always have to do the notifications menu!
It's the sims 4 though, we are not expecting consistency lol 😂
Download simulation lag fix mod!
I click the escape button twice which goes to the save menu its quick and helps right away
nah how u gon put henford on par with magnolia prominade? now that is literally traumatizing
Actually, yes. We do want empty worlds. I love Newcrest. I would love it if we got more empty worlds. Empty worlds are a blank canvas. You can put whatever you want there. And if you're not a builder, there is: The Gallery.
I don't understand why any world should be less than 10 lots. Since there are neighborhoods, two 5 lot neighborhoods per world shouldn't be a problem.
Other than that, I mostly agree with you. When I first got City Living though, I found there to be an extreme shortage of buildable lots. Oh sure there's plenty of apartments, but I want lots to build on. Build some factories, or werehouses, or more community lots. Selvadorada is probably the prettiest world. Windenburg and Brindleton Bay at the top of you list, is very accurate, no arguments there.
No, we don't want them. It's way more hassle to fill an empty world in every single save, and to find builds on the gallery that you like, that work with the enviroment AND look somewhat cohesive. It's so much easier to just bulldoze every lot if you so desire and there you have it: an empty world.
@@coldnuit You also don't have to fill it out in every save. It's a really good world for builders. Non-builders really don't have to play in it.
@@renamami Except we have very limited worlds and they get very boring after a while. It's a bit much to ask people to just not play in it or spend hours to fill it with gallery lots, instead of giving us a proper world and builders can take 10 minutes to bulldoze everything if they want to.
Yes! Rate all the Sims 3 worlds. They are much more SULTRY
the sims 3 and past, that shit, not even close to the sims 4
"Beautiful traditional straight white man university" 😂
As someone who stopped playing after the Sims 3, due to not being able to get over the reintroduction of loading screens, living vicariously through your Sims 4 experience is oddly satisfying
I'd honestly like to have a world with just 1 giant Lot 200x200 and an apartment lot trait. Imagine how that could work? You could make tons of small homes on that one lot and with the apartment trait, it could feel like an open world map. If there's any modders looking at this comment. Help LOL 😮💨
idk if they have much access to create custom worlds or lots
but it's amazing idea
@@Ocidad TwistedMexi is working on a Create-A-World mod actually! It's reached super early access but looks very promising.
@@theonemica What? okay that was cool from them
i'll check the info about it
Strangerville is by far my favorite world. Just so much room to make cool stories. 10/10 video.
A lot of people already said this, but as a European (Slavic to be exact), a lot of the worlds just feel too USA for me. Windenburg is the closest to "Europe" to my experience, but it's still closer to "german tourist town with renovated medieval houses." Especially the main 3 worlds carry the USA air so much, even if I bulldoze and redo every lot (which I can't be bothered to do). It'. It's the one things that makes me not want to play as much. I wish there was a rowhouse option, it could work like the flats in City Living, but just vertical and tall instead of horizontal and wide. Or at least an option of putting the fence on the edge of the lot, not one tile away.
Well the game is American 🙂
I agree and though I'm american, I like seeing other towns inspired by different countries. I loved windenburg and the cottage living world, as well as sulani because it reminds me of Dominican republic (where my family is from)! It is quite boring to have so many American-like towns and barely any worlds that are unique to each other, even as a vacation world I'd like it
@@noriii Personally, I'd like to see some other than Japanese Asian influence. Especially India and Middle East are very recognizable. I'm not an expert in African substyles, but South Africa and Egypt are among the most "known." For Europe, Scandinavia or Mediterranean are very distinct. South America is close to Spanish architecture (due to their history). I'm not sure about Australia so an Australian would have to chime in.
Windenburg is btw 200% traditional German. The Dutch build everything with bricks, and not with panels, so it's not Dutch. I hated it for it. Would've loved to see more European worlds. Now the HighSchoolYears is out, the game is becoming more american to me. I hate it. The translation is also so bad. When someone becomes promqueen or promking, there's no direct translation for it in Dutch. So it is very weirdly translated en alsmost ununderstandable.
Yeah, the high school pack is extremely US-centric. Most packs and worlds you can at least pretend it's not a US-setting, but the pack is extremely distinct.
Plus there are more and more spelling mistakes and typos in the Dutch version.
@@LeelErine Hahah yeah, I really do ignore them.. but it's unbearable. The closer you look, the more you'll see. I started playing in English last week, just so everything works properly and as espected.
I set my game to English from get go when I got it because my brain works better in english even though it's my second language. I also hate how US-centric it is, mainly the suburban layouts and pre-made houses since it makes the ones I make that aren't suburban stick out. Sometimes I wish I could bulldoze it all and start over but then I am reminded of how I'd never finish the rebuilding. I found a "danish high school" on the gallery to replace the default one but once again, it sticks out.
You are a RIOT‼️😂🤣😂 I thoroughly enjoyed your Worlds review and yes, please do a review on the Sims 3 Worlds.
I think the beach area with the river through it is called a quay (sounds like key lol) Not long discovered you and I think you’re hilarious so thanks for that ☺️
The most shocking part of this to me is how few lots there are, in the Sims 3 there’s a wide variety of residential, community, and empty lots with a good balance of occupied and unoccupied pre-built houses, and in Sunset Valley there’s 92 lots and Isla Paradiso (one of the biggest ones) has a whopping 118! It’s crazy how Sims 4 thinks it’s okay to just say “there you go, 15 houses, that’s your lot!” with only a 6 or so empty lots in the two neighborhoods the game came with. In comparison to Isla Paradiso, Sulani only has 14 lots. FOURTEEN LOTS. And only two of them are empty! I can’t comprehend the fact that they genuinely thought that was okay. Del Sol Valley is another massive disappointment, half the mao is occupied by visual set dressing with very few actual lots… and only two venues? Seriously?
It’s just disappointing and shocking, I wonder if it’s due to the engine being inherited from SimCity 2013, thinking back to that game they share some similarities, large areas with just a few locations, and each city only has a tiny buildable portion of a huge visible area, much like Sims 4 where the lots are much smaller than the visible area.
I have never been this early! I have recently found your channel and i love your personality.
I love how you mentioned how they didn't give us a European world after Windenburg...then brought up Henford-On-Bagley being British and Britechester, also Tartosa -- so that's now 4 European worlds - 2 of which are British-inspired. That's a lot.
I think the worlds are interesting if you mention gameplay aspects, like H-o-B is very communal, you have the little traditions, lore, village errands. It really feels like a community. Then you have San Myshuno, which you mentioned the festivals, there's always something going on for your sims to do outside and the districts feel like mini-open worlds.
I LOVE your rankings, thanks
I always live in Oasis Springs because I can't stand the settled snow in winter time, great world overview video!
One of the things I do a lot in ts4 lately is to rebuild and redecorate all those weird and boring buildings ~ but I'm more like a builder anyway. If I'm not in the mood to gow with the flow (and the glicthes) I just build.
Same!
This is what we needed from satch today, an ranking is always sometimes nice so lets get into the world ;)
yes I'd love to see you rank sims 3 worlds!!
I recently found your channel and I absolutely love all your videos!! Thanks for bringing some fun to Sims reviews 😃
Strangerville is absolutely my favorite world. It's so kitschy and fun and really knows how to play up how living in a place like this would kind of suck and I love it.
I really could cry what we all don`t have anymore in S4... its absoltly traumathising and horrorbile frustrating. What they call a "world" these days is nothing more then a cut out of a cut out of a cut out of a tiny tiny neighbourhood...yikes forever
I cant describe how long i waited for your opinion on the worlds😍💗💗
The GTW world is NOT the smallest expansion world. It is 4 lots bigger than the world that did not come with Seasons.
Also I wish to emphasize how beautiful and exotic Strangerville is (and always will be if you don't finish the last chapter of the story)
I love your videos and your vast knowledge of the Sims games. It inspires me as a new player and to make my own channel. Thank you for always being super informative and 100% open about how it really makes you feel. Brutal honestly is the best policy. Please never stop making videos! ♥️
Selvadorada reminds me of Colombia so much, with the bright white buildings with copper rooftops.
I definitely wish they allowed us to pick what worlds are vacation and what are residental per save basis. Like maybe I want to pretend that my sim lives in the selvadoradan jungle and in order to leave the world they have to travel and rent lots to live etc. You know whatever.
Bayou! That’s what Henford on Bagley reminds me of! I’m British and these trees look like nothing I’ve ever seen despite all the parks and nature trails we have, I swear I’ve seen more cherry blossom trees here than any weeping willow trees
if you add the romance in france mod for Magnolia it turns that place into one part of Paris with the eiffel tower lighting up at night and everything and you can download paris stuff from the gallery to make it look more france like
Have to disagree with Tartosa. My wedding stories is trash but the world is beautiful and unique. Though I agree it is more of a builder's world. There's not a lot to do in the og lots. My current playthrough I've turned Tartosa into a vampire haven inspired by Toussaint in the Witcher🧛🏻
I loved the vibe of the werewolf map but I agree that once you visited every place you kinda don´t have anything to do anymore. The pack itself was really good and I´m glad they put more work into occult sims but I feel like they could take it even further. Heres hoping that in the future we might get packs with actual worlds and stories to accompany them
its been 8 years, i guess they are done with stories or lore from earlier franchise,
just a remastered of sims 2 or 3 is what we need, no hope for sims 4 to be better
their recent update is still broken
What's really disappointing is there are no collectibles besides one frog near Gregs! I wanted to have a werewolf sim who's very connected to nature and etc, using the land like one of the packs does and then I just found out there's no plants to harvest or rocks to collect of stuff to dig up, it makes no sense with a world like moonwood mill!
I made (and am still working on) an outlet mall for willow creek. It’s a retail lot with different stores and I have a mod to summon a free food stall employee for a food court. I agree it’s super annoying that we don’t have the get to work special lots on it. That would have been amazing.
Noice, good luck 😎
Newcrest looks a hell lot like Willow Creek aswell. And in my opinion, I NEED more empty worlds to build on. 😯OH AND try fixing your Lag by pressing the Escape key a few times. Works well for me.
I think people complain about Sulani because they want it to be the mermaid pack, but it’s really not - mermaids are just a side thing like aliens in get to work. I like the way you can improve the island through the conservationist career - in my opinion, better tuned than eco living - and I like the lot traits and building on the water, and the unique community elements - that you have a different style welcome wagon, and if you go too long without cooking your neighbors will drop in with food, and if a fire starts all the neighbors come to put it out instead of firefighters.
I also love Strangerville and play in that world all the time.
Finally some Sulani love!! That world is very unique in Sims 4, we don't have anything similar!
I both like and dislike it. It’s a love-hate relationship.
thanks for explaining the salt tree thing :)
i agree and i love your videos i’m obsessed and please do the sims 3 worlds to! ❤️❤️
Henford on bagley word is great because of all the animals
this channel is my new saturday night entertainment
For me, my personal Sultry world is Sulani. It's such a waste that the gameplay is not giving me peng
If feel a lot of the shell buildings wouldn’t be that bad if they were made into rabbit holes instead, like in sims 3 (movie theater, restruant, grocery store, masoleum) I really like the little pop ups and little blips of story.
One thing I dislike about the mermaid cave is you go in, you get scared by bats in like 10 minutes, and you come out empty handed
Literally every world in sims 4
Satch: it looks very British 🥸
Great video! Would love a Sims 3 world review.
For lag issues you might try saving your game, it clears some cashe or another and speeds it back up.
Also Brindleton bay is New England inspired.
There is literally nothing to do anywhere! I’m a builder and I still want something to do, once I’m done building…
Do people remember the carnival and forest area from The Sims 1 makin magic? So much to do!
Because back then they used a great trick! When animation lacks, use storytelling instead!
Today they don’t use storytelling at all, it’s like someone stopping a story after the first sentence…
Living in a rural area, you kind of see huge driveways to a lot of places that aren't mansions. Granted, they often tend to be gravel, or if it's a middle class place asphalt.
I'd love to see a video of you ranking TS3 worlds btw!
Honestly, to me, as a German, Windenburg looks like a mix of British (classic Tudor style homes) and French and not German.
I think it basically is vaguely European, giving a European-ish feel, but not really hitting the vibe of any actual place in Europe 100%.
As a fellow German I 100% agree! It also reminds me of a European style theme park area, it looks vaguely European but I couldn’t pinpoint it to a specific area.
it always felt kinda scandinavian to me 🤔 but that's probably because of the neighborhoods' names
@@Mello-td6vt I never really looked at them XD
So, let's do that now!
Olde Platz - Olde is clearly (older) English, Platz is German for place or square
Lykke Center - Lykke is Norwegian and Danish for happiness. Center is English, obviously
The Crumbling Isle - Just plain old English
Windslar - Google translate says that it is windslayer in the Scandinavian languages. Also reminds me of Windsor in the UK and Goslar in Germany.
I would also like to point out that "Hare and Hedgehog" sounds very stereotypically English pub to me.
Dresden House clearly is a reference to the German city of Dresden but follows the British name conventions of XYZ House, something not done here, usually.
Cottage Am See is also a German reference. Am See means at the lake.
Von Windenburg sounds like a German nobility name. Von is of and burg is Castle.
Bathe de Rill is clearly French
Also, the names are also all over the place. Candy and Yuki Behr have English and Japanese first names but a German last name. The Bjergsens all sound pretty Danish to me, the Fryes' last name is English. Their first names are Irish/Welsh, mostly, apart from Dominic. Sergio Romeo Italian, Joaquin LeChien has a Spanish first name and his last name is French for the dog. Ulrike Faust and Maaike Haase sound as German as a name can do. Would have spelt Maaike differently though. The Munchs seem to be another attempt at German. Markus Flex sounds British, Paolo Rocca Italian, Jade Rosa English with a possibly Italian-ish last name? Eva Capricciosa is Italian again. Villareal is a place in Spain, Jaques is a French name, Max can be everything, Luna is Spanish, and Hugo can be several languages, too, but makes me think of Victor Hugo who was French.
Long story short, we have a fun mix out of Britain, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy and Spain, when it comes to the names and place names.
I think what they were going for is best summarized by the name of another lot in the world: Discothèque Pan Europa
(French) discotheque ( from Greek πᾶς: Pan) connecting/entire/etc. (German/Greek/Italian/Spanish/Norwegian/Danish/... Europa) Europe.
Paneuropean seems to be the perfect way to call the worlds vibe
@@ElisabethOrchard oh lmao, i didn't expect you to put that much effort into it! thank you for the summary
I would love to see a sims 3 ranking so I can revisit it as well
You mentioned that a lot of places could have apartment lots instead of nothing, but apartments are kind of the big hype of San Myshuno and adding them in another pack could be a new reason to not get the City Living pack
I want more worlds like newcrest. I love building and I enjoy being able to build an entire world without having to bulldoze everything. I always move my starter sim in the biggest lot in newcrest
I actually like that the mountain in Moonwood Mill doesn't have much, because if it had anything that Townies automatically went to, where would I force my werewolf to go and howl/scavenge so I can wait out it's rage without destroying all my furniture? That mountain makes going through a rage without scaring anyone and therefore getting the ability to calm down future rages SO much easier.
Windenberg gives me Veronaville vibes
A bit off topic, but my Sim is also taking her clothes off all the time just like Shanice since the update. Is that a glitch?
I'd love to see you rank the Sims 3 worlds.
Lmaoooo what is peng??? LOL I LOVE your videos and I’m here for all of it!
They did put a church in selvadorada as decoration, they’ve could add one in forgotten hollow as well lol
I do like the little pet cemetery in Brindleton Bay lol As far as museums I literally never visit them unless they have a want to view art at one or some such.
They need to add more apartments into the worlds or at least allow us to build them as lots again. It would make sense with the lack of lots and we could convert some gyms into apartments 😆
Yes SATCH UPLOADED! Althought he timzone difference sometimes made me miss the chance to be comment one but thanks for sharing your opinions with us xoxo
You also mentioned how the forests in Henford-on-Bagley don’t look British but like- do they NEED to look British?-
no bc deadgrass isle's pet graveyard is such a nice way to interact with ghost pets and so pretty too :(
i just started playing sims 2 and wish that we got more cutscenes in sims 4 & i think that the fair n copper filed would've been a fun place to put them
25:48 i LOVE the reaction
Hmm, I don't see many people talk about this, but personally I do love the big open areas in worlds, where there's no actual lots. If i want to walk around in a neighbourhood with my sim, I like to see other sims around, meanwhile the non-active lots will always just be empty and the townies will not interact with them whatsoever, it can look so weird sometimes. You can walk up to a park in your neighbourhood but it will be empty unless you actually travel to the lot and sit through the loading screen. The cottage living world has that upper neighbourhood that is so pretty and HUGE, if your sim lives on one of those lots you can do soo much without having to actually travel to another lot. Another good example of this is Mt Komorebi, and even Tartosa.
As for Sulani, I would rate it much higher, because even though it's a bit lacking, we don't have anything remotely similar to it in Sims 4, and for that reason it's an essential pack/world for me.
Anyway honestly, enough with the mining towns, lol. My biggest wish at this point for Sims 4 is an Africa-inspired world, imagine if we had a traditional little village area, another with resorts, an open safari-area. They could even introduce some animals like Elephants, Giraffes, they could world like foxes, they could spawn in the neighbourhood and maybe sims could have some interactions with them like watch them, take photos, etc. We could even have a safari-car that sims can interact with and drive around, like canoes in Sulani. It would be such a unique pack/world in my opinion.
OR at the very least a Scandinavian town with the red houses, I'm just not sure what pack that would go with.
“It’s like a beach and a river.”
It’s a brindleton bay
I lost itttttt when he called it a minecraft house
I would LOVE a ranking of Sims 3 worlds
I think britechester was inspired by Cambridge/Boston. The old/new school contrast def felt like a reference to Harvard and MIT being right next to each other.
i think other european worlds besides windenburg in the sims are based off of england, like britechester and henford-on-bagley, but to have only two european cultures represented is sad to me
Allthough i'd like to see the world based on each continents i completely agree
Windenburg is based on Germany i guess
Tartosa is based on south europe countries and the other 2 worlds are based on the uk (Henford-on-Bagley and Britechester)
I'd like to see the scandinavia worlds like Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway
Or even Europe like The Netherlands (coming from The Netherlands) or Belgium to name something (even more activities like they did with some other worlds like Henford-on-Bagley, San Myshuno, Mt Komorebi if i'm correct)
The sims devs could add a setting to switch the amount of detail on the lots that way they could add more and make it look better for the people that have computers that can handle it, and people who have less powerful computers can switch it to less detailed builds mode
I’ve never once travelled to magnolia promenade with my sims
😆 🤣 love your reviews and I agree with e everything yet I'll still play the game religiously.
If you guys use mods, 20thCentury Plumbob has some of the best world maps to enhance your worlds. Especially the San Myshuno map.
0:54 leaves salt tree like that :D
Evergreen Harbor Pinecrest Apartments is the Floodgate Apartments from Sims 3 Bridgeport.
Yea for celebrity venues, you have to try to fix it by creating celebrity clubs and have them meet at the correct venues. Have a club of 1 and 2 star celebrities meet at the up-and-coming spot, and have 3, 4, and 5 stars meet somewhere else, and maybe have 5 stars meet at their own place.
I think we had some other world in previous sims games that represented a smaller part of the world. Like Monte Vista in sims 3, that’s so Italy
I recommend y'all getting an updated maps mod (i forgot the name) cause the maps are very bland
I wish we had more worlds that show us what it's like in different countries. For example some type of Scandinavian world, Italian world etc
Lmao i died when u said "minecraft house"
Could you do an updated ranking video of the The Sims 3 packs that has the most gameplay and in depth?
Satch download the simulation lag fix mod! It fixes the lag you get from leaving build mode etc ❤️
The thing about Del Sol is it does look like Los Angeles, except way too small. That Orchid a go go lot enrages me because its based on a real venue but they got it all wrong. Irl there’s a round corner so when round walls came out I tried to build it and the round walls literally broke the lot and ruined my game.
