- Join us as we wake up in Zion National Park and spend our first week of RV living in one of the coolest national parks! We only expected to be here for 2 nights but as the weather further north (where we are headed) kept changing and getting colder, we decided to spend a few more days in Zion as we waited for a better weather window. It was a blessing in disguise because we got to take the rest of the week slow exploring all the beauty that is in Zion and getting more familiar with what it takes to live full time in a RV. We got to experience some unexpected snow that made the landscape that much more beautiful and fun exploring. We also found ourselves having to move campsites as we decided to stay longer and learning that the site we were already in was booked for the rest of the week. It was a good learning experience, and allowed us to see what the process of a quick pick-up looks like! We also experience having to dump our black and grey tanks for the first time, and that's always a fun task! Lol We hope you enjoy as you follow along!
It is fun to travel, when we moved we had a 3 car caravan. Our oldest son pulled the trailer, my daughter rode w/me and my other son rode w/my husband. We communicated w/Ham Radios as my 1st son, husband, & 13 yr. old daughter were all Hams! I've been to all 50 states, as it was life's goal After being raised in Fresno, I will never get used to the snow here in WI. BRRR! Utah is beautiful.
That’s so awesome! We hope to accomplish that one day (all 50 states). We love the winter time however it can definitely be challenging at times. Thank you again for visiting our channel!
It’s a lot of work but well worth it when you wake up to Gods beautiful creation😊
Amen!

Hello !!! I just subscribed to your channel. I look forward to following you. My husband & i were missionaries to Mexico for years & knew all about that. My husband passed away to cancer many years ago 😢 & i still miss him ! Take care !!! ❤😊❤
Hello Maria, thank you for watching and subscribing! I am sorry about your loss! We will be praying for you! God Bless you!
Great video. Love your dog, we have a doodle also. What boots is he wearing, they seem to stay on well.
Thank you! We use to buy him the ones from Ruff Wear however they wore out too fast and were super expensive. So now we buy him these from Amazon - a.co/d/3GqxvnX -. He loves them.
I noticed you guys are constantly filling up your water tanks. Do the Rv parks your staying at not have water per site? We only fill our tanks when we are “dry camping” and there are no connections, sewage, water or electricity.
Hi @ril850_1 , when we were in Zion NP they only had power at the sites so we had to fill our tanks. All the others have had water per site however we have a large water filter and water softener that we use and don’t want to leave them outside in the harsh weather so we just fill up when we need to and then put everything away.
So how is your OUTDOOR RV keeping warm. I’m looking at that brand for my next fifth wheel
Hi Jeff, no issues with staying warm inside the RV. We have been in temps as low as -2 (-9 w/wind chill) and the trailer has stayed warm.
Is that orange tube used to dump human waste???😮
lol yes. It’s our sewer hose that dumps the “black” tank. Not a job you look forward to but it’s part of living full time in an RV. 😂
