Medal Day: Engine 201 and Ladder 114

- The FDNY will honor its best and bravest during Medal Day on June 6, 2012.
Seven of the year's top medals will be presented to members of Engine 201 and Ladder 114, who saved numerous lives when they responded to a fire in Brooklyn on March 13, 2011.
In this video, the firefighters from Engine 201 and Ladder 114 describe their incredible actions that night.
My Dad is retired too From Eng 201 "Can Do" Sunset Park Bay Ridge Bklyn NYC!. He was in for 28 yrs!!!.

The company medals are not considered individually. There were also multiple medals given to FF Hogan and FF Dunn. In total, seven different medals were presented to the members of this company.
And the rest of the Battalion did great job as well and should get recognized for their efforts

The boys did great job. Just a correction. 3 guys from firehouse getting top medals. 11 in total as the engine is getting burn center unit citation and truck is getting WTC unit citation

Fireman Mike You probably know my Father. He was in for 28 yrs! Eng 201 "Can Do" and with the Emerald Society busiest eng back in 70s/ 80s and 90s I used to go to Firehouse when I was a little boy. My dad drove the Fire truck and used to be "On Watch" and got awarded Dennis W Lane award in 1982!. Iam in my mid 40s now glad I typed in 201 curious to see what shows videos and such. God bless yas all. Firemen STILL to me don't get enough news coverage for the Bravest jobs you guys do.
