- Delighted to invite you in for a holiday home tour! Will showcase our Christmas trees, table settings, and collections. See the German Pyramid and incense smokers live in action. Years of collecting, along with new additions, grace our home. Lots of finds from estate sales, antique shops, charity resales, and garage sales. You will surely recognize many of these items acquired in previous segments. Even my red party dress is a recent find from Blue Bird Circle. My Cloisonne and crystal necklace is from another favorite charity resale. Excited to invite you over for a look at how we decorate and celebrate for the holidays. I have several of the German smoking / intense smokerscollection of Steinbach nutcrackers etc. additionally I have several sets of Villeroy and Bach . Love these cherished items . My friend displayed nativities in a curio cabinet all year. When she downsized, each of her grandsons chose a set. I do keep the tall Angel on the mantle year round. I just sat down to have a quiet cup of coffee, take a break and reset my thoughts from the hectic morning routine before the Christmas Celebrations and can't thank you enough for giving me personally a respite from all the difficult things going on around me - thank you, Merry Christmas!
Wishing you peace and joy this Christmas. Life can be hectic and this is often a trying time of the year. I am often reminded of Christmas 2007 that I spent in hospice with my mother. It was an awful time, yet there was beauty in the experience. Neighbors set-up our tree for the kids. Grateful for their kindness and God's mercy.
Thank you for welcoming me into your home, I know many others were watching too, but you manage through your charming presence to make each of us feel at home. I particularly liked the nativities, also the tree in the breakfast room, but also admired your tall ceilings. Have a very Happy Christmas.

I don't celebrate Christmas but I still enjoyed your home tour. Was able to get some inspiration on how to display glass and crystal pieces on my furniture and not just stick them all in a cabinet. All your home is lovely, but my especially favorite display was on top of your baby grand piano.
Awww, thanks for mentioning the piano. We usually feature gold framed photos with old family photos. Some of these date back over 100 years. Will rearrange after Christmas and add more crystal. Yes, bring out that glass and crystal to let it shine. 🌟

Oh so many things beautiful where do I start, lol. The Limoges trinket boxes, Jeweled Christmas Tree and Quilled tree are my favorite so far. I now know what to look for on the incense burners, never knew what they were. I think everything was so festive and have wonderful holidays to you and your family from Tucson Arizona

Had no idea it came apart and that it had a purpose. When a German relative gifted me with one, it then became clear and I started a collection. You might just find some at your local resale.

Being a Charlestonian, I must emphasize the proper pronunciation of the Christmas flower made popular by a Charlestonian, a botanist, physician, and first U.S. minister to Mexico, Joel Poinsett. The Poinsettia flower is pronounced with 3 syllables, not 4.
POIN-SETT-A, not POIN-SET-TE-A.
So many today are mispronouncing it, that one day, no one will know what is actually correct.
