    Thank you Sensei Larry! It’s great video! I was thinking to get XXL or XXL pro for Kento. I decided to get Pro one.
    It was funny I was reading a review on century’s site. And I copied CZcams address then took me here! Price increase a lot though. I’ve waited too long.

    I was going to ask how it compares to the XXL PRO. Then a couple minutes in I realize this IS the XXL PRO! So, how does it compare to the regular XXL? Not that it matters much, you sold me on the PRO. Great review!

    • @TheMartialArtsEDGE

      Thank you! The main difference is that the xxl top screws directly into the base.. this is not great because if either part goes bad you might as well replace the whole thing. I’ve had the tops strip from the base and they are almost useless at that point. The 2XL pro screws into a nut.. it’s a feature I don’t love but if the nut stops out you can replace it.
      I’m going to be reviewing the Torrent T2 model soon. It addresses this issue and could be a better candidate. I’ve been putting it through its paces.
      Thanks for watching my friend!

      @@TheMartialArtsEDGE Oh, didn't even know about that one and I was about to pull the trigger on the 2XL PRO! A quick look at it seems like a different design and addresses you main complaint. Not to spoil your review, but do you think the T2 is worth the extra money? Looking forward to your review! Subscribed!

    Great video!
    have you ever considered gluing the bottom screw part to the plasic base? I'll be getting 3 of these bags to my dojo next week, but I'm gonna have to move quiet a lot in the beginning and end of the sessions. thought it would be cool to just screw the bag out, flip the plastic bag on the side and roll it to wherever I need it, but seeing the bottom part is not secured is very annoying considering the high price of the bag.
    what would you suggest for someone who needs to move the bag a lot like me?

    • @TheMartialArtsEDGE
      @TheMartialArtsEDGE  Před 2 lety +2

      I move the bag a lot in my schools. I tip the bag and roll it (always to the right) and I rarely have any issues. It’s a great bag and like I said.. I’ve have each of these for years and not had many issues. If I do have an issue, Century always takes care of us.
      Thank you for commenting and most definitely for your input. I value you my friend! Let me know if you ever need help with your Dojo. Love talking shop.

    How is it when you, yourself, actually workout on this bag and just really hit or kick hard, does it fall quite a bit in the middle of your sessions, causing you to pick it up several times? I'm not a heavyweight hitter by any means, but I'd like to know that if anyone, that hits harder than me, would like to use it, that it won't fall too much. Especially for the price you pay for this. Deciding between this and a regular heavy bag with a stand. Thanks!

    • @TheMartialArtsEDGE
      @TheMartialArtsEDGE  Před 3 lety +1

      Great question. I work out on these bags often and it stays upright for me until I want to knock it over. Similar to a heavy bag where you can get a good workout and then try to knock the stuffing out of it.. it will swing crazy then you stabilize it and go for another round. If I had to choose between a hanging bag or a freestanding bag, I’d choose the freestanding bag every time. Especially since I do t have to attach it to the ceiling or buy a rack to hang it from. I hope my 2 cents help.. Let me know if I answer anything else for you!

    There is nothing cheaper than plastic in our world and Century could utilize recycled plastic to reduce cost of production thus reduce the price of their Bags because they are overpriced for what they are.
