7:09 Originally Playful Cloud, the weapon Toji is using, was his and he kept it in that Cursed Spirit he used to keep all his weapons but after Toji died if you remember that Cursed Spirit went to Geto and Geto gained access to Playful Cloud which is why we see Geto using it in JJK 0. After Geto died, Gojo took Playful Cloud and gave it to Maki. If you remember in S1 Maki comments on how disgusting it feels to use Playful Cloud, that's because it technically came from Geto
No in manga it stated that playful cloud is gojo's clan property, and I think gojo gave playful cloud to geto then after toji's death geto put it inside that curse spirit

After Geto died and Gojo took Playful Cloud, the Zen'in clan argued that since the *original* owner of cursed tool was Toji it belonged to the Zen'in clan so Gojo used his influence to have Maki be the new owner of Playful Cloud. If Geto had Playful Cloud before even fighting Toji why wouldn't he use it to against Toji when they actually fought?
9:36 when megumi says toji might be worse than sukuna, he's saying that toji might be faster than the sukuna who blitzed him back in season one (sukuna still had only 3 fingers at that time).
Translation implies megumi is talking about strength when he just means speed

As a manga reader, I think the sub translations have not been nearly as good as the manga, some lines don't have much impact as one would hope. So let me give yo the lines given by the narrator when Toji showed up.
- "Those who inherited the curse of the Zenin clan (refering to Megumi and Naobito), the one who couldn't fully leave behind that curse (refering to Maki). THEY WOULD ALL BEAR WITNESS.. TO THE NAKED FLESH OF THE ONE WHO SET HIMSELF FREE, TO THE ONE WHO LEFT IT ALL BEHIND! AND HIS OVERWHELMING INTENSITY!!"
it's not only the impact, some translations are straight up wrong lol. megumi says toji might be faster than 3 fingers sukuna, the subs translate as he saying "he might be worse than sukuna". among a lot of other things.
Dog. The anime isn’t going for a 1:1 adaptation of the manga. The manga is there for you to enjoy, and the anime is gonna be a little different. Enjoy both and quit comparing the two so hard. Little dialogue differences isn’t some grave error

Do what you want with the willy nilly talks, but leave the important, hype lines alone.
Pls take into account that manga translations aren't always accurate either. The only way would be to check the original lines and check if they adapted that.

The problem with Jogo's strenght is that he is actually the strongest out of all the ancient cursed spirits but it doesn't feel like it since his ass got absolutely clapped as his debut fight in season 1
To be fair his design doesn't really help him. He looks like the kind of villain that gets one shot by the main characters.

In episode 9 fake geto gave these girls advice that if you want to make deal with a sorcerer always make sure its a binding vow,but they ignored his advice and tried to make a deal with sukuna one there own. Making deal so casually without binding vow ,Sukuna understood them girls are fodder and killed them without hesitation.

Even if they offered a vow Sukuna has no reason to agree. I always got the vibe that trying to bargain with him is what made Sukuna decide to kill them.

Jogo is actually really strong, remember that he was estimated to be at the level of eight or nine Sukuna fingers. In the JJK fanbook, it says that any normal person that enters his domain would just turn to ashes immediately. He was definitely done dirty by going against Gojo in his first battle

Jogo gets underestimated because of how Gojo manhandled him. But Gojo would do that to literally everyone in the Jujutsu world except a full power Sukuna.
Jogo is exceptionally strong and easily in the upper echelon of JJK when it comes to powerscaling. You suggested that Toji could've easily delt with Jogo if he wanted to, but that would not be the case at all. It would be an extremely hard fight that either side could win.
Jogo would win, resurrected Toji doesn't have his bag of tricks nor weeks to prepare a full-proof plan. Fighting on instinct got him killed originally.
When megumi was taken outside, there was suppose to be narration directly prior to that happening. It’s because Toji sees him as the strongest out of the other 3 for reasons not animated yet
I think the reasons are pretty clear, none of those 3 are strong enough to have their own domain. Details will be explained later but anime onlys should understand as much.

Jogo reminds us this episode that he is super strong. It's just that he got destroyed by Gojo in season 1 so most viewers have let there guard down on him. He is special-grade. Also I do think Maki did tank his attack, because of her special Heavenly pact body and because Dagon didn't really damage her before. So she could survive. But I don't know how Nanami and old dude would survive since they were already critically injured.
I'm actually shocked that through all this time when people watched jogo they never seen him as strong. I thought that was clear from the jump. Everytime when he fought I always had in mind that this guy has more then 1/3th of the power of sukuna.

Jogo wasn't close.....remember jogo is super fast. He got into Sukuna's location almost instantly.....Toji just went after the strongest around to fight in their own space just like with dagon

What I really appreciated about this scene is just how BRUTALLY Jogo's burning was animated- in so many anime fire/explosion attacks are like 80% visual until they need to do damage, so getting to see actual consequences/potential death like this is kind of refreshing.

Playful Cloud is a weapon of Toji. It originally belonged to him and was inside that fetus-like curse spirit with his other cursed tools. Then, Geto got it when he absorbed the curse spirit after Toji's death. Gojo then gave the weapon to Maki after Geto's death in JJK 0.

jogo is the strongest out of the disaster curses( mahito, jogo, hanami and dagon), he just looked weak while fighting against gojo, dagon said naobito is "probably" faster than jogo, he wasn't sure about the second fastest sorcerer being faster thaan jogo, and he burnt naobito mid way so I'd say he might actually be faster than naobito, and he haas like 7 to 8 sukuna fingers worth of cursed energy as mentioned in season 1

Megumi holding back Dagon's guaranteed hit definitely helped. But this just puts into perspective the power gap. Two first grades(one who was the second fastest NEXT to Gojo) and two semi first grades were all jumping Dagon and kinda losing. 4V1 and Dagon was holding his own. Toji steps in and obliterates him. Takes a tool from Maki and gets to work. In HIS domain. Absolute monster.
Now, even crazier, we see another power gap. Jogo has always been in fights against Gojo. And everyone seems weak against Gojo. But here we see him against opponents that are not on Gojo's level. And he literally speed blitzes three of them before they can comprehend what just happened properly. Being weak against Gojo does not mean you're weak in general.
Nanako and Mimiko. Two girls who were abused and mistreated but rescued by Geto. They wanted to put his body to rest. To get that brain out of his body. But it didn't work out that way. Sukuna heard their pleas and killed them anyway. R.I.P. Dagon, Nanako and Mimiko. Just goes to show, he isn't on anyone's side but his own. He is not some protector of Yuji at all. And now he's agreed to a deal with Jogo. If he can land one hit on him, ONE, then he will do as the disaster curses want. Obliterate every last human in Shibuya. Aside from one.

I think there are some confusion about power lvl here. Toji fought Gojo back when Gojo was a First Grade Sorcerer (Not a Special Grade at the time), this was shown in the manga and not anime. Essentially all the things that makes Gojo the most powerful by far, came after that awakening. Before the awakening he couldn't even use Red properly, couldn't keep infinity running 24/7, no domain expansion, no RCT. I don't think most ppl think abt the implications and the massive difference these things accounts for.
Toji is Only at the level of upper First Grade, he is not comparable to any of the Special Grade sorcerers, let alone Sukuna who is only comparable by Gojo now.

Your physical stats,your CE's own characteristic effects,your technique(s)(and everything changes with your technique),your combat skills,your level of knowledge and understanding of jutsu in general and efficiency at the usage of CE are what determines how powerful you are.We can actually add more to that but you got the idea.
Ryu has more CE then Yuta but he has lost to him.Both yuta and Ryu has more CE then Satoru but they aren't even close.

In theory, you could use RCT to keep someone terribly malformed alive, but their body is constantly pulled to represent the shape of their soul so they'll just stay in agony. Ultimately, until anyone in the show does otherwise, the only way to reverse Idle Transiguration is to shape the soul back to normal.
