I suffered from vasovagal syncope which caused me to faint in situations of anxiety. It is absolutely terrifying, and puts life into a whole new perspective. I feel this man’s pain. Thankfully it has been a year and a half since I last fainted.
When I over think something to much my head feels heavy, I loose my eyesight, and I have to get on the ground or I pass out. It’s really embarrassing when it happens in public too because your sitting on their ground pale, dripping sweat, and half awake

I was in the military for 9 1/2 years and so many hours doing drills and ceremonies and standing at attention in formations and what they always tell you is don't lock your knees, because this will happen for sure. Glad's he was ok and so many there to care for him.

As a military member, fainting while standing for extended periods of times is pretty common, especially for people who lock their knees. A bunch of boot camp graduation ceremonies online have people fainting

British Coldstream guards are also famous for fainting at attention at their posts because they wear those extremely hot uniforms. Lots of situations can make even physically fit soldiers at risk to faint if in extremely constructive situations for long periods of time.

Standing requires the heart to pump the blood much harder, and that requires some level of physical exertion to increase heart rate. This is well known in the military, which is why for instance soldiers on guard duty regularly march back and forth a few feet every couple of minutes. That's one of the first things they teach people when they join the military. You have to keep your knees slightly bent when standing in a formation or you'll collapse and look like an idiot. Lol

the few times I’ve fainted have been the most humbling experiences of my life realizing that at any time all the lights can go out and there’s nothing you can do about it has a way of putting you in your place, we are truly powerless in the big scheme of things

ALWAYS bend your knees if you're standing for a long time. As a choir singer, it's one of the biggest things they tell you in concerts. I've witnessed SOO many people pass out due to not getting circulation by bending the knees!!

000 it's where you keep your legs completely straight for an extended amount of time with no bend in your knees, it causes blood pooling and will promptly lead you to faint from blood mis/malcirculation
That’s not a seizure… his head would be bumping against the desk & wouldn’t of recovered so quick. Chances are he hadn’t eaten in a bit and was standing for too long so his brain didn’t get enough blood/oxygen, hence the fainting and trembling. Not to mention if your body goes limp and only your legs are supporting you, you’re gonna be shaking because you’ve lost balance. Source: I have fainted about 7 times

That’s not a seizure… his head would be bumping against the desk & wouldn’t of recovered so quick. Chances are he hadn’t eaten in a bit and was standing for too long so his brain didn’t get enough blood/oxygen, hence the fainting and trembling. Not to mention if your body goes limp and only your legs are supporting you, you’re gonna be shaking because you’ve lost balance.
