XG is a all Japanese member girls group all trained by Avex Japan under their 5 year project, some of them were only 5th or 6th grader when they first started. Their foundation were built early on, all solid, well prepared for the project. Then shortly before their debut, they were sent to a studio in Korea which Avex also established for this project for promotion and localization (languages, etc) to aim global market. There are multi national creators and staff members work for this project under
a Japanese producer with multicultural back ground who was also a Avex trainee himself and graduated from a university (of music) in Japan.
That's why the style of the shooting star is similar to 90's Y2K Avex's golden era when R&B based dance & vocal group was still popular in Japan

Kokona is also a main dancer. In their latest interview they said Jurin and Kokona are the main dancers. Jurin and kokona learn the choreo quick. Juin then adds things to the choreo. The member that basically learns the chore first is Jurin and then teaches the rest of the members. It's always been said that Kokona is always with Jurin. She is Jurin's dancing and rapping partner. Kokona has been attached to Jurin since she met her. On the behind the scenes of Jurin's bday you see how kokona cried when she tried to tell Jurin how much she means to her. You can hear Harvey saying it.

XG is 100% an addiction. There stage presence, aura and charisma combined with their insane talent is just infectious. Never come across a group where its almost impossible to have a bias they all slay in their own unique way. This group is criminally underrated. Also check out their dance crew video "XG MOVE #3" it is FIRE.

Pirelli is premium tyre brand so "Just like my pirellis, burning on the ground" means that they are riding fast in a sports car (probably), hence figuratively burning the tyres due friction on the road

I prefer Tippy Toes to Mascara but I know some people thought it was lacking. The whole point was to not reveal too much but be interesting enough to catch your attention so the music is minimal but an ear worm from the hook. Mascara more matches the 4th gen kpop sound right now, a lot more going on overall and higher energy.

They are constantly referecing to 80-90s and early 2000 in their songs and clothes as well. That's why they mention things like Parachute pants or Pirellis. Pirellis are the wheels "burnin on the ground" in a recent version they've changed the lyrics to "4 wheelies burning on the ground"

It honestly took me 7 months to finally settle on a bias (every single one of them was a contender at one point or another) and the behind the scenes videos won me over for Juria
And for Tippy Toes and Mascara, I'd watch their dance practices right after. I feel like both those songs were new and good when they came out but Shooting Star/Left Right are just on another level for me personally and the bar is definitely set too high for newer fans, but the dances for both of them are insanely good.
