  • The Answer. Bubba Chuck. A.I.
    No matter what you call him, chances are your favorite player calls him an inspiration. Few stars in NBA history have left their mark on the league, or influenced a generation, quite like him.

    I remember lots of Kobe fans were happy about AI's downfall years. Had the 1996 class been redrafted, AI would still be number 1 pick.

      That makes no sense. Let's draft the guy that didn't bring us a ring

      I love AI but if we know how each player would end up, Kobe’s first lol

      Kobe had one of the luckiest career. I wonder how Kobe can lead the Lakers to win without a prime Shaq and Gasol.

      AI didn't have those elite help, which ended up with no rings.

    I didn't understand why my grandmother loved him
    Now I see it's because she understood what many young black men go through.
    You can't measure his influence

    To this day, this guy is my idol. Nobody could do what he did at 5'11.
    On another note, the early/mid 2000's was such an insane period for talented guards. AI, Kobe, Marbury, Francis, Davis, Carter, Kidd, Payton, Allen, Arenas, Paul, Nash, Wade etc.

    AI’s legendary career probably could’ve been extended if he had just hit the weights a bit more. The man’s body took a beating over the years. He really is the pound for pound GOAT.

    truly an inspiration, love this dude the sad parts of his story will bring me to tears if i let it, such is connection he is able to have with his fans no other fanbase is as loyal appreciative.. however when u say he ddint have much left in the tank in the return to Philly, u are mistaken.. he was out of playing shape & didn't have his legs or lungs under him..had not his daughter not get sick & he stayed played himself back into shape, u would've seen the AI of old.. It hurt me when he had that big outburst of scoring against the lakers 1 last time in philly & Kobe said to the reporterv "oh he can still do that sometime" as if 1 2 years later he didn't drop 51 on him as a Denver Nugget.. & the only reason Chauncey Billups was able to proceed to the conference finals is because they had defensive pieces that AI never had like Nene to lock up paint. Chauncey only won like 3-4 more games than Ai did in the season, which means they never faced the #1 seed in the 1st quarter....The numbers in this case dont do it justice..It was melo's team butr he was the problem not Ai, he didn't play Defense but Ai did * had assist that melo dont. As sen in New York melo only iso & score, but does not past at all, they were winnign morfe with Linsanity until he returned. Yet he was allowed to finish & ai blacklisted, Kobe's lakers wnated Ai to play in the G/D-League and Kobe who claim Ai is who pushed him the most never intervened, he got Shaq fired so he could've gotten Ai hired. Ai + Kobe > Lebron & Westbrook and may have yeilded another lakers championship..

      Billups numbers were absolute trash compared to AI, not sure why anyone tries to claim billups did such a better job

    “How the hell can i make my teammates better by practicing?” is some of the stupidest shit i’ve ever heard from a superstar🤦🏽‍♂️i get he’s ranting but at that point just shouldn’t have even been up on the podium

    • @gangstagummybear3432
      @gangstagummybear3432 Před 2 lety +3

      Not really, you can make yourself better by practicing, but i cant force someone to practice to get better, they need to have that drive themselves. AI wasnt that kind of person that was willing to cuss out his team mates like mj or kobe, so what good is practicing, we all know how the practices are going to go, everyone is going to get torched, and they arent going to get any better

    Iverson ego and pride is terrible when he knows he is not the top dog anymore most importantly when the young guys come in like lebron, wade, melo era he cant compete like he use to that is when he started to become a problem.. you wont see kobe doin that kinda stuff kobe will be a competitor until the end until kobe body cant make it any longer.
